Apparently Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Atletico have made a €25m + bonuses bid for Kieran Trippier, although I'm not sure why Atletico would do that
Isn’t there starting rb getting old?

Juanfran is 34, yes, but he didn't actually start the most games at RB this season. Santiago Arias, who they bought from PSV last summer (and who was the Eredivisie player of the year in 2017/18), started more games and he's quite similar to Trippier, minus the dead ball ability.

Any fullback that they buy needs to be more defensively sound to fit Simeone's system

Hope that's true. Napoli apparently into him as well.

Been utterly dreadful this season and, as you say, I don't get it because he's shocking defensively. I'd take 15-20m for him in a heartbeat.

Managers will back themselves to turn that around. He’d been good before this season then was one of the best right backs at the World Cup. Not sure if he needs a change of scenery or maybe just a proper break this summer, but I think he’ll get back to his best.

You mean Perisic? No.
If Inter actually made an offer that **** they'd be laughed at.
Sorry what I meant was asking if United even had a desire to keep hold of Lukaku anymore. I was underinsured the impression that he was not part of their plans showing forward

Some rags have created stories, nothing from the club to suggest that is the case they certainly don't want or need Perisic. That ship sailed when Mou left.

Now if Icardi was brought into the equation I'd be interested

Do we really expect Sane to go to Bayern? I have big doubts over that. Who was the biggest name City have lost in recent memory?
unless you want to count sancho, probably tevez or boateng.

You want a 30 year old Perisic over a striker who set EPL goal scoring records who had one bad season?
Lol to be honest I am going on Perisic from one year ago. I have not been keeping a close eye on him this season

If he does go there I can see Bayern waiting for another year to run down on his contract or even wait until it expires and try to rustle jimmies behind the scenes in order to get City to the negotiating table earlier. Depends on how much Sane really wants it too. I recall KDB and/or his agent strongly suggesting that Bayern buy him when he was sold.
