give someone like pogba a tough but fair coach he can respect and he would thrive anywhere. i would love to see him in our midfield

It’s probably a fair assessment to say that as a group our midfield is better than the sum of its parts. There’s a very specific type of player we’ve gone for in that part of the pitch, I’m sure that’s not a coincidence. Their effectiveness is built on skill, energy, work rate and tactical discipline.

Pogba is a brilliant footballer and I don’t doubt that he personally would thrive at Liverpool, but who knows what impact adding him to the mix would have on the team’s overall cohesiveness and performance. Based on how the likes of Conte, Allegri and Mourinho have used him, I see him as the sort of player we’d need to adapt our system for rather than him adapting his game to fit the system. Maybe that system would be equally as successful, maybe it wouldn’t. I‘m not sure Klopp would risk it.

Too lazy for Liverpool IMO

Can't believe Raiola's comments about Utd. How unprofessional of him to lock out potentially career defining moves to a big club like Utd.

It's also bs.. Bet Haaland would be a Utd player right now if they paid him 15m to get the deal done.

And gave Raiola and Alf Inge a sell on percentage.

In some ways it is good because it puts a spotlight on Woodward and the Glazers.

However, I think it is fair to say that Fergie was right about Raiola all along. Plenty of players not on Raiola's books for us to pursue.

Surely an agent can't get a sell on cut!! Thats almost third party player ownership!!

Do players who can sign on Bosman deals have to let their club's know when they've agreed a future deal somewhere else?

Eriksen in talks with inter milan. Would be best for both parties if the move is pushed through with a small transfer fee wouldn't it? Eriksen would help inter with their title race, maybe could get himself a sign on bonus and other bonuses into the contract for missing out the huge sign on fees and Spurs get at least some sort of fee for him

It makes sense to get it done now but Inter are notoriously tight. Levy will probably want them to pay 30m for the privilege of not having to wait 6 months.

Surely a player and their agent must let the club know if they have signed a pre-contract.

I dunno what the rules on it are.

I get that they might be tight but level on points with Juve and getting a 60m player for half that but double what you'd pay getting him for free next season. Don't think even Levy is that tight to pass it up

When I look it up all I get is crap about FIFA career mode. Logically you would expect that there would need to be disclosure of a pre-contract agreement even for insurance purposes.
