Maybe over the last couple of days Harry was seriously thinking that Messi might go to City and if so he’d be no chance of going to City so he put out that statement to save face.

It's a pretty bad situation for Kun, no guarantee he will be registered. Obviously one of the big pulls for him moving to Barca was playing with Messi.

If Barca don't sort it in the next week UEFA/FIFA should.
