Can’t tell you how much it grates on my nerves. Stuff like “Cat’s”, Blue’s”, “Swan’s”, “Leed’s” etc also shit me off and I’ve seen them all. Its like, it’s not the Swan’s, it’s the Swans.

I’m sure they’ll convince a few players but just an indication that maybe may be a little more difficult for Newcastle to convince players to come as it is for clubs in Manchester and London. Yes granted Newcastle virtual bottom but still think it’ll be difficult going forward

It's not like they're 10 points adrift though. If they get 5-6 quality players in their form could turn around pretty quickly.

Oh totally agree. I even posted a few weeks back that I think they’ll stay up if they can grab a few players. That’s far likely to have a bigger impact at the bottom of the table than up the top. Just mentioned it as maybe why a couple may not choose to come in that they may feel too far down the table and they’re a few years away from European comps or could go down still.

This particular transfer might not happen but Newcastle are going to cut loose in the transfer window and won’t get relegated because their squad will be better than everyone’s around them. As much as 1 win from 19 is a shit return, 17th place Watford is 2 points above Newcastle.
