Messi signed a 9 year deal with Barca in 2005.

Saul signed a 9 year deal with Atletico in 2017 (LOL).

Inaki Williams signed a 9 year deal in 2019.

Denilson signed a 10 year deal in 1998.

They're the longest I could find.
lmao really? Saul?

I very much doubt Haaland has a City clause. The Germans haven't exactly been reliable in regards to Haaland, they denied the clause existed with Dortmund for ages and not only did it but it was less than thought.

and even if there was, worst case scenario is a tidy profit

I'd like to see some attention given to the agent's fees.

€40m agent commission seems like a huge amount. On face value €2m would have been generous.

Are the agent provisions in the player's best interest? €40m fee to the agent and possible ongoing deal with City limits the options of clubs available to the player. Surely some of that €40m finds its way into Haaland's pocket if he had a less greedy agent?

Does such a large fee to Haaland's father amount to income splitting for tax purposes?
