Yep apparently he forced himself off the USA Tour to get the deal done.

As soon as I saw him first play against us for the Saints I thought he was the perfect long term replacement for Antonio.

Apparently we're confident of signing Onana and Lingard this week also, so we'd just need a LB and a backup RW for Bowen and our business should be done.

I guess in a perfect world for TT he'd sign both(would suck for the Colwill situation though), but if it's a toss up between the two I think Kimpembé with his leadership skills and being left footed suits us a bit better. I rate them pretty similar in quality.

If they were similar quality PSG wouldn't be looking to sell. Kounde is a level above.

If signing them both means Colwill walks then i don't want it. Sounding like Barca will sign Kounde once their 2nd lever(whatever that means) is pulled anyway.

We could just as well end up with neither and TT will be forced to use the academy(not a bad thing imo).
