Would rather try the Brighton route and pay 12m for someone from a foreign league. Che Adams is a known quantity in the PL and that's about 5 goals a season max, starting games. He is not PL quality, this is the same as when we kept buying players like James Beattie back in the day.

My favourite Walcott moment (in hindsight) was when he ran the length of the pitch at Anfield in the champions league quarter-finals and set up Abebayor. Was a glimpse of his amazing talent and in such a big moment, was unlucky not to be the match winner.

That was a blistering run, great callback to that Soza. He did something similar a year or so later from a Liverpool corner, to then take to the other end setting up Arshavin’s 4th. That match finished 4-4, was mayhem to watch.

I chuckled when I saw Walcott post the same picture to Instagram earlier this year after the 2-0 Arsenal win in the NLD.

I recall reading that the Spurs fans who were pelting him with coins as he lay there awaiting the stretcher after rupturing his ACL, actually ended up hitting and injuring two paramedics who were also Spurs fans. You couldn’t scrip this shit.
