Spurs for relegation?
.Robbie Keane (Tottenham) >>> Liverpool (19 million)
What a muppett, just as Spurs are starting to get seriously ambitious he jumps ship. Liverpool won't be competitive with the big London clubs and Man Utd in the coming seasons. London has too much pulling power for the top foreigners and Man Utd, well they are just Man Utd.
Robbie made a boo-boo

19 million for Robbie Keane. Tottenham are laughing all the way to the bank with that one.

16:38 Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez insists he has not abandoned plans to sign Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry, but confesses he will be forced to sell in order to raise the necessary funds.
hahahahha... the Yids have been "promising" that for years...and NEVER delivered
It's a lot of money to pay for Keano and so he'd want to deliver but at least now he'll be able to show his wares on the Big stages![]()
Ha ha, Spurs supporters getting ideas ahead of their station.
Who would have thought it?![]()
I've always rated Keane, and he will be an excellent signing for Liverpool. He can create, he gets goals, and he's the perfect striking partner for Torres.
19mil looks like a lot now, but I reckon he can be as influential for Liverpool now as the McAllister signing was several years ago. It just wouldn't surprise me if Liverpool stay in the title race until the very end.
Such a bigger club than everton... has to do the same tactic by selling players to buy..

I'm driving the bandwagon mate, hop on.
PS Good to see a Rovers man on here![]()

Oh oh.
Apparantly we are trying to buy back Yossi Benayoun from Liverpool for 5 mill. Man City are also interested Please go to Man City, Please go to Man City.
In other pant moistoning news If Sunderland fail with their bid for Malbranque they may try and sign Luis Boa Morte. Oh god yes. If this happens im gonna put a picture of Roy Keane up on my wall and kiss it every night before I go to bed
).We'd be silly to buy Yossi back, we'd be making a loss on him.
If we sold LBM buying Yossi back would be acceptable (As long as we sell LBM for a couple million, Keane will give us that).
I'm very happy Liverpool got Keane instead of Villa.![]()
Yeah, only would've cost another 15m.
Then there's also wages to consider.Villa would of cost 35.3 million. Maybe in Valencias wet dreams he would of. If you offered 20 or so mill for Samuel Eto, you would of got him.

Where would he play exactly. I would really like us to go in for NZogbia aswell as a strike on loan to finish out purchases of.
Any Newcastle fans know the whereabouts of young Charles. Havnt heard much about him since the end of the year. Still looks out of favor.
