So it's a conspiracy?

I mean the statistics speak for themselves.

There is less the 50 000 transgender people in the country last time I saw figures, of those hiw many are men either partially or fully transitioned to women, and how many would be kids?

We are likely talking about cases that number in the 10s if not single figures.

If transwoman are women - why are some intent on exposing their genitals to women and children? One female or child being exposed to this - is one female/child too many.

Have you ever heard about females exposing their genitals to others in change rooms?

It's a male patterned sexual abuse behaviour - and part of the behaviour requires involvement of females who have not consented to this.


Did you actually watch the video of Riley that was shared? Did you listen to her words? Or did you stick your fingers in your ears and refuse to listen?



Males need to stop dismissing what females are saying, and listen to their words.
Males also need to stop calling females slurs to shut females up.

As a "Super Moderator" - you have an unequal position of power on the forums compared to the garden variety of members - some would say you are abusing that power to control how the discussion goes. Is that how you want all members to see you?
 
Unfortunately the extreme fringe of the transgender movement are just as unhinged as their detractors. Here’s ACLU lawyer and transgender activist Chase Strangio:

“I feel an inexplicable amount of rage witnessing the Senate likely overcome the filibuster to vote to codify marriage rights for same-sex couples … I find it disappointing how much time and resource went into fighting for inclusion in the deeply flawed and fundamentally violent institution of civil marriage. I believe in many ways, the mainstream LGBTQ legal movement caused significant harm in further entrenching the institution of marriage as an organizing structure of US civil society.”

Yes that’s right. We don’t want equality, we just want to burn it all down. Such people have more in common with Steve Bannon than with genuine liberals.

You are the one focusing on exposed genitals, I’m focused on the feelings that the women have, you have discarded those in favour of one person in the change room

I mean shit Julia Gillard doesn't support the institution of marriage and she's pretty main stream as a former Prime Minister

No idea what the issue is, but just as an aside, you know that in many European countries there's no big deal about men and women getting changed around each other. Mixed bathing and saunas and the like?

Just so you know that it isn't natural human condition to hide while you get changed, and being in the presence of a member of the opposite sex getting changed isn't automatically an abomination before God.

What are the feelings of trans women? I can understand the sense of validation they would feel being in the women's changerooms, or are their some that dislike being forced to change alongside biological females?

We're a fairly prudish nation, more akin to the US than anywhere in Europe.
 
How does one even police transgenders in women's spaces?

1. The argument of "we can tell" doesn't work because cis women often get mistake for being trans women
2. Monitoring genitals is stupid and is a logistical nightmare, many trans women look like cis women so that's a factor.
3. Lastly, all to stop what? I doubt most trans women would wanna flash their stuff (especially if they hadn't done HRT/surgery). Most just wanna do their stuff and leave.

So you treat trans women like men, which opens up a problem, what do you do with trans men? If trans women should be treated like men, then trans men should be treated like women. So now people like this (shown below) are forced to use women's bathroom.

Now, not every trans man is going to look like this. But, my point is, getting trans women out of women's spaces isn't as easy as one may think and would end up harming more people than help.
