Most people talking about the sanctity of life use a religious background to support this, so they're often bound to an ideology that can be caught out. Jesus was a very forgivey guy.

There's nothing inately hypocritical about being pro-choice and anti-death penalty, and I'm not aware of a commonly believed dogma that has a firm position putting those views in opposition. Well, except the same religion as the first guy.

Abortion isn’t an unborn child it’s most of the time a heavier period.

When it is a late term abortion it’s almost always because birth is a huge health risk to the mother (often potentially fatal) and likely to be a miscarriage anyway.

The hypocrisy is that an “unborn child” is worth more than the life of the mother, let alone their right to not give birth if they don’t want to.

That said, anti-abortion and anti-birth control movements are in a huge way a form of population control. Often a white nationalist form.

Think about it, the US right wing is focused on reducing immigration while reducing women’s rights to not give birth. It’s not very difficult to connect the dots on that one.

I do believe it mostly comes down to people who hate poor people and minorities trying to salvage their morality by defending the most innocent human possible - the unborn child. When someone wants refugees gunned down at the border, and arab countries nuked out of existence its hard to take their “pro-life” stance all that serious.

Genuine questions:
Did you know that 25% of Democrats are pro-life and 25% of Republicans are pro-choice? Are you suggesting that pro-life Democrats also desire population control?

Also, wouldn't population control be more effective with pro-choice? After all, blacks account for 37% of all abortions despite being 13% of the population. 19 million black babies aborted since Roe v Wade. Why would white nationalists oppose 19 million less black people in the US? Seems off-brand.

Speaking of nuclear power, anyone been watching the 5 episode hbo mini series on Chernobyl? First two episodes have been amazing and the ending of the second episode was pretty intense. Hanging for ep3. There is a podcast with the director/writer as well discussing the episode. Would highly recommend.

Did you know that 25% of Democrats are pro-life and 25% of Republicans are pro-choice? Are you suggesting that pro-life Democrats also desire population control?

Democrats are pretty much a centrist party so why wouldn't that be the case.

Also, wouldn't population control be more effective with pro-choice? Black mothers are more likely to have childbirth complications.

And the effect of stopping white women from aborting rape babies seems pretty on brand for white nationalists.
