I'm not on Twitter. Would someone who is be good enough to ask the coach why he won't leave our best half forward where he does the most damage instead of running him as a midfielder. I mean Stevie J of course.

I'm hoping that was just pre-season mucking around, and come the real stuff SJ will be played forward.
Interestingly I was at a Level 2 Course over the weekend. A Game Analysis presentation by a Docker Coaching Staff Member featured SJ and his ability to run off , make space and finish. Very obvious from the 60 or so in the room that he is rated massively even in a Western Centric audience.

it is to build his fitness base
and offer some chop out if required

he is super fit this year

Liked the first edition, thanks to Chris for making himself available each week when I'm sure he's incredibly busy. Great initiative by the club.

Thought it was instructive that Taylor Hunt was his DT pick (there you go Rabbi) and had some nice things to say about Bathie as well.

I'm tempted to tweet and ask which of the tall forwards he will drop for the second ruckman, but doubt he'll give that away :D

Thought it's a really good innovation. Using today's technology to give supporters firsthand info is important.

Doesn't look like Mitch Brown will be a starter in the ones in round one. Small framed as he is I hope it's not too long before he's running around in the ones as he's an exciting talent.

Agree.

I think it's a great way to allow fans to have interaction with the coach and better get to know how he's thinking, on a medium that suits us.

To be fair, I took his comments that he does rate Mitch (he said he's be in the squad of 29) simply that we have a few forwards ahead of him at this stage. I reckon you'll see him debut at some stage, more than likely against another young side where his small frame won't cop as much.

Probably best to ask Nigel Lappin this question, though he kind of answered it in that SEN interview posted not too long ago

Just a little thumbs up to me for getting my question read out on Tweet the coach today. Thought all the questions may have been pre fabricated.

I asked Chris how many games he watched each weekend to keep up with trends and game styles. Loved his response in his words i watch every game because i love footy.

Well Chris so do i. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Why would you say except for _Me_ and Hendo! Other than the fact I am not on Twitter, why wouldn't I want to tweet the coach.

I can understand you saying _Me_, him being a "Bomber" sycophant and all, but I think Chris Scott is a great coach, and I hope he surpasses the feats of "Liar" Thompson in coaching us.

Chris Scott- 2011 Premiership Coach!

#tweetthecatscoach - What is the one thing you make sure the guys don't do before a game?

He basically said that he makes sure the players don't take the win for granted and that they have to go out from the beginning to play! He noted later on that our slow starts are a worry and we must get going from the off....

This seems to be a culture from the last few years and may take a bit longer than 9 games to get it out of the boys! I think if we don't it will be our undoing this year!
