So happy Rob Eddy signed with us. Can really play.

What about McQualter.. did you see that shimmy and goal from him! Amazing defensive pressure.

Ring any bells anyone?

Basically, they get game theory spots. In future, players of some value will get traded out, just illustratively, Webster as a half back when saints are a finals side. So, other teams get a slightly more rated player, saints get a pick, and Wright/Michington maintain a spot.

They have shown they can focus at VFL and come in if we have injuries and fill a role. There is value in that don't want role players in ur best 22 but can be useful if u have an injury or two and to keep the pressure on the more talented.
Also doubt they would be costing more then a rookie

Late round rookie salary is less than $80k. They'll be on about double that.

7 goals in 10 games for Wrighty isn't that much less than what Mav provides. I think off the top of my head Mav had around 22 from 22. Given that Nat's also only new to the role I think we can cut him a bit of slack. Crazy intensity in making the defenders accountable as well.

26 from 22 pretty sure.

But can they tackle like the Mayne train

Wright is very inconsistent.
A player who sometimes gets 5 disposals and a tackle? Lucky he kicked that goal.
Sounds a bit like Mav's worst game in his first season at the Suns.
Mav's worst game for the Saints at age 22 was probably 12 disposals, ( 7 contested ) and 8 tackles.
