Can't speak highly enough of what I think of Tyson as a player, really enjoy watching him and I rate the way he goes about his footy!
Harvey goes OK too

Hard one really. Edwards has been consistent week in week out for Adelaide and probably isn’t rated as highly by opposition supporters with the likes of McLeod, Riccutio and Goodwin but like I said every week he does his job.

Harvey on the other hand is seen as one of Norths best and although isn’t consistent week in week out like Edwards he can bust a game open and turn it on its head.

I haven’t got any stats but at the moment but I’m leaning towards Edwards but would like to wait until both end their career to make a final judgment.

Edwards came third in the Brownlow last year I think, in with a chance of winning it right up to the last round, when he was robbed of some votes (had like 25 possies) aka Andrew McLeod when he kicked 5 v Kangas in like 2001, and didn't get a single vote. Would have won it with another vote or two, but meh. Cant win em all I guess.

Edwards is a class act, and is extremely underrated.

Better career? hard to tell, but I reckon if Edwards was in a poorer team, he'd have more accolades and more awards. ATM Edwards is easily better, no contest. Has been one of my favourite players as he just goes about his business as usual and doesnt care about individual success.

I don't think I have ever seen Edwards argue with an umpire. So poised and balanced, is a true footballer.

Tyson is a champion footballer. An embodiment of the way the game should be played IMO.

Harvey is also great, but Edwards just has that extra dominance that Harvey doesn't quite reach.

I think it's the other way around.

Edwards will always give you a quality 25+ possie game whereas Brent Harvey will give you an 18-25 possie game with a couple of goals.

Brent breaks games open more than Edwards but Edwards' feeds are quality.

Edwards for mine. One of the best midfielders going round. Consistently gets the job done without a fuss. Glad to see he gets the respect he deserves, when he could be over-shadowed by alot of flashier players at Adelaide.

Also has a propensity to do spectacular dives in front of umps, rather like certain Italian Soccer players.
Edwards really has been a class act and has not put a foot wrong. Should be remembered as one of the greats of the Adelaide FC.
