Polec's been good. Going back to last year he was pretty highly rated but hasn't had a great year with WWT.

A hell of a lot can change from June to November Rigs. Couple of years ago Brisbane fans would have told their supporters not to bother even mentioning Rich at this stage of the year, and they ended up getting him with the same pick I'd put money on us receiving. Nothing wrong with discussing exciting young players I've only heard fantastic things about Day.


Are there any highlights anywhere? No chance of me seeing the matches here in Europe but I'd love to watch some highlights.

Kieran Harper, key forward for Vic Metro. Probably the best KP forward outside SA this year (noting that Day will be gone long before our selection). Has performed very well throughout the Championships.

Precisely why we need another KPF is anyone's guess. Small crumbing forward or inside midfielder maybe, but KPF? Maybe he was just ranking them in order, rather than on a needs basis. Maybe I'm being overly kind to the ignorance of Mike Sheehan? Or was the comment made by Kevin Sheehan - in which case I withdraw the slur entirely?

he tried to do it by needs, which was why he gave Gorringe to Richmond with pick #4 and Lycett to Gold Coast on pick #5
