Excactly. We (I) tell the mates you have to spend time with the GF, inferring that you would rather be with them, but, well you know how it is.

We (I) then insinuate to the GF, that by sacrificing mate time, you are in some way doing her a favour , and she owes you something.

Truth is, most of the time we are with who we are with because we want to be with them. (It makes sense I swear)
