Part of me wants to win the league fair and square. The other part wants a good laugh

Using Juventus as an example they were first charged with financial irregularities in October with their punishment being handed out 4 months later. If anything happens to City I doubt we will see them punished until later in the season in which case we could already have the title wrapped up.

Saw an interesting stat on twitter today, can't find the exact tweet but it had City not being able to lose any more than two games between now and seasons end to reach 90 points whereas we could afford to win 12, draw 3 and lose 3 of our remaining fixtures to reach 90. Not sure if it took any other factors it took into consideration. Also not sure if the maths was right but if it is is leaves with a bit of room to stumble once or twice in the run home.

Part of me wants that too. The other part of me has been waiting 2 decades. If this is what it takes, then I will take it.

Need to bounce back vs Brentford.

Everton performance was horrible, but no need to panic too much after 1 woeful performance.

Back in about May they asked Pep in an interview about this and he said that if it was true he would quit immediately

We would need to go 12-4-2 to hit 90. They would need to go 15-0-2 to hit it.

Next weeks game is massive if we can somehow win it.

Arsenal need to focus on Brentford first. Obviously the City match is looking large and there’s all sorts of distractions for them at the moment - if Arsenal aren’t careful though there’s a scenario of results that could see City overtake Arsenal in next week’s fixture.

First and foremost is Brentford. Must respond well to 2 losses on the bounce and regain that momentum. 3 points would be brilliant. I wonder if Tomiyasu and perhaps Trossard start this one.

3 points is a MUST, need to bounce back.

What do we about balogun 14 goals in 21 games... His value will be high (possibly) but will come back to Arsenal and play behind Jesus and nketiah... Hard one obviously we need a quality 3rd cf option but if he rarely plays next season we will see his value drop.

Can he come in and play as a wide forward? A back up to saka/martenelli and co? But even then he wouldn't get enough game time I don't think.

Scrubby first half. Brentford have been good. Looks like they started to tire late though, maybe more open in the second half.

We were that bad were we? Seen none of the game - only the score etc.
No. Played way better than against Everton. We dominated the second half and VAR appears to have missed an offside for Brentford's equaliser. First half, we were lucky not to be 2-0 down. But we were unlucky to draw.
