Thumping win. City win 4-1 and Arsenal respond in kind. Ramsdale too busy for my liking in that first half. Once we clicked though, the football it’s just sensational.

Jesus with 2, Xhaka in goal scoring touch, Trossard with another assist (what a ****ing signing he’s been). All whilst being able to rest Saka for the first 60 minutes. Magnificent.

That was Jesus’ first premier league goal for Arsenal since October 1st. 6 months ago already.

Wild to think if you told me back then that Arsenal would still be top of the table despite not having him score a goal (let alone feature at all in a match for 4 months).

Arsenal have done exceptionally well to cover absences. There’s a hunger and willingness from guys stepping in to do their bit. Happened with Nketiah. And Jorginho. And now Holding.

Far from a perfect performance this morning, Leeds I thought were very good in the opening 20 minutes and caused Arsenal a lot of problems. Ramsdale immense. If they scored though it would’ve been a deserved lead.

Once Jesus scored the penalty, Arsenal eventually clicked and it was largely one way from there. Trossard superb again, Martinelli very good and unlucky not to score. White covered plenty of territory.

Hoping to go to Anfield with Saliba back in however with the momentum generated by the club with 7 consecutive wins, and their up and down season, we should be absolutely gunning for the 3 points next weekend.

Anfield has never been a happy place for us, but we need to change things like that if we want to win the league.

No reason why we should not be able to get three points given the form of both teams.
