Yes can be difficult to tell until you see it fully, with the matching shorts etc. I’m a fan though, I like the dark shade to it.

Getting Kepa for £5m has freed us up to spend on a striker AND a wide player. I always felt Gyokeres was an option because he was cheaper, which allowed us to go for quality in other positions. But Kepa is a bargain, which means Sesko is the man and we can still dream of someone like Rodrygo.

Every now and then a transaction comes along that makes perfect sense from the outset. Premier league experience, Spanish international, known to Inaki Cana and Arteta, and only £5m.

Excellent price of business from the club. Cannot get a better option for that price point. And hopefully this now puts an end to the ongoing churn on goalkeepers under Arteta and Cana, it’s getting a bit ridiculous really so hoping this is it. And releases funds for club elsewhere across the squad (something which I worried for if Garcia was signed for €30m).

Gabriel contract extension. Kepa in. Sesko looming hopefully. Berta is cooking.

We just need him to be better than Darwin Nunez, because we'll provide him with as many opportunities as Liverpool have for the Uruguayan. He looks like an excellent prospect. Only worry is the impatience of the fan base...

Zubi played very well for Spain this morning. He scored and carries the ball forward well too. I look forward to what he can add to our team.

Reading last night that real Madrid want zubi but don't want to pay the release clause.

Went on to say that they would offer a few players on loan for free ect.

Interesting that Sesko was “withdrawn” from Slovenia’s friendly against Luxembourg over the weekend. Whether an injury niggle or perhaps something to do with the national team being requested to sit him (whether by the player himself, who knows). But this stuff can happen when there’s an imminent transfer discussion, to protect the player etc.

Let’s see what happens. I still think if any transaction was to take place, it will be in July to book it for the new accounting period for Arsenal. Managing the PSR cycle and so on. Similar to how Sociedad appear to prefer Zubimendi for July as well.
