The sooner the international break is over, the happier Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be.

The Premier League leaders went into the fortnight boasting one of the meanest defences in Europe but have seen three of their key men involved in injury scares.

Injuries to Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori had already caused alarm before full-back Jurrien Timber joined the list during the Netherlands' 4-0 thrashing of Lithuania on Monday.

Timber was injured by a bad tackle during the first half of the Netherlands' win against Lithuania.

He was treated by the physios after appearing to have sustained a knee injury, but pictures subsequently showed a deep cut to his leg, and he played on for another 30 minutes being replaced, again raising hopes he will be available for the weekend.

Well with the Gabriel injury, reported setback for Havertz, old mate Michael Oliver back to referee this match, this is some welcome news heading into the NLD/Bayern/Chelsea week:

Even having him, Martinelli or Madueke back on the bench will be a huge boost. Jesus has been pictured heavily in full training however would imagine he’s still some weeks away from being able to return.

I ****ing hate international football with a passion.

The league needs to think about bringing the PL squads up to 30 players from 25 if there's continually going to be more and more games added to the domestic/international seasons.

I think Madeueke and Martinelli are the closest to returning. Perhaps Odegaard too. With Gyokeres on the horizon whilst Havertz and Jesus towards the end of the year.

The Football Interview is a new series in which the biggest names in sport and entertainment join host Kelly Somers for bold and in-depth conversations about the nation's favourite sport.

Kelly: Was it always Arsenal for you?

Bukayo: Yeah. Well at that point of my career, the decisions were more made by your parents. You're just a kid, you don't really, do you know what I'm saying? My dad made it clear to me 'Arsenal is the club I want you at', and I said: 'OK, let's go

Kelly: How special is it being an Arsenal fan, playing for Arsenal?

Bukayo: It's just a dream come true. Obviously growing up, going to the stadium and watching Arsenal play in so many different games and to now being the one on the pitch and all the people watching you and all the stuff that comes with it. Family that used to talk about Arsenal... and now it's you.

Kelly: Which coach or former team-mate would you say has had the biggest impact on your career?

Bukayo: It's tough to say. I always speak about David Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - they both helped me a lot coming into the team. The way they welcomed me, for me... I was quite quiet... obviously coming into Arsenal, these were like my heroes, players that I was watching from the stands and I get to play with them now, so it was a bit of a different experience for me and I didn't know how to handle it. I didn't want to rub anyone up the wrong way, so I just preferred to be a bit more quiet. But these guys... they welcomed me - it helped me feel myself - and gave me advice, and gave me confidence, that push. You could see it when I was on the pitch, the confidence I was playing with. It was definitely helped by them and obviously the rest of my team-mates as well - that helped me too.

Kelly: What are your hobbies?

Bukayo: Football. Recently, I like making coffees. I'm into my coffee era, yeah. I think I'm a part-time barista now.
