Hi all, I am in London on the weekend of the League Cup final.

What would the chances be of snaring an Arsenal ticket? Don't want to sit with the oil club fans. Anyone know how the tickets are sold? Happy to pay within reason.

Wish I could help sorry, might be hard pressed to find an answer here with mostly Aust based posters. The club allocations will probably be a ballot or something for club members, maybe a hospitality package is a good option depending on how much you want to fork out of course.

Leandro Assist King Trossard

Hammy?

It looked like a knee to me, however he didn’t seem hampered post match and was out there clapping the fans etc. Usually a good sign but you never know really.

We used stubhub to get tickets to the 2 PL games we went to. Not sure how exactly it works for cup games though sorry.

Think I might just turn up at Wembley on the day and see what happens. Aussie accent gets you things in the UK!

Thought Liverpool were going to do us a favour but they bottled it.

Infuriating that we dropped points against them twice this season. They suck.

I watched the mini match and that was an extraordinary implosion from Liverpool. From being played off the park in the opening to then the missed chances, going ahead with a ridiculously good goal, and then throwing it away late. Wowsers.

If Arsenal did that, the “bottling” word would be used, similarly with how giddy City were after their second goal, someone might have to call the celebration police haha. What an eventful game.

Started the weekend 6 points ahead and it remains the same - it’s all in Arsenal’s control from here.

These videos intrigue me. Considering all he went through, the fact that there seems to be a lot of love speaks volumes about both individuals. There has to be a reason why people play for Mikel.

Trossard maybe a calf.
The Captain doubtful for Brentford
Schade out suspended

Nwaneri was subbed out at half time in a 5 - 0 Marseille loss. Manager Roberto Zerbi has quit.

Saka already ruled out, Odegaard doubtful and Trossard supposedly has a calf strain. Merino already out with his foot surgery and now Havertz has a “muscle injury” that will see him miss a few matches.

I remember that lovely few days a fortnight ago where the entire squad was available barring Dowman :D

Eberechi Eze, now is your time.

Simple
Just keep winning
We won the league THIS YEAR

Yes that’s the best way possible, just keep on winning. Big game tomorrow morning, and we also play Wolves mid next week. FA Cup against Wigan is wedged between those 2 PL fixtures, so that will be a good chance to rotate.

Brentford are a very tricky opponent and having an excellent season. 3 points tomorrow would be massive.

Strangely enough, I am not as worried when our injuries are attacking players. If our best back 4 is fit and healthy, I have confidence in overcoming the missing players. When our defenders were injured, it was a stressful time.

Arteta mentioned Dowman would be back in a week or so, too, which is good news. I suspect Odegaard will be back. Arteta gets weirdly coy in his pressers just as a player is about to return.

Yes we seem to alternate between cluster injuries in defence or attack. It’s been that way this season.

Whilst I agree we have enough stability through the defence/midfield to make it happen, it leaves you light on the bench to change the game in the second half. We’re probably going to see academy players fill out the bench in the meantime like that period with Harriman-Annous etc.

Saka I think is targeting the NLD next weekend however Odegaard or Trossard I wouldn’t be surprised to in the squad tomorrow. They seem the closest of the injured group. Havertz out is a big blow.

Arsenal attackers currently unavailable for selection:

❌ Kai Havertz
❌ Bukayo Saka
⚠️ Leandro Trossard (cramp)
❌ Martin Ødegaard
❌ Mikel Merino
❌ Max Dowman
❌ Ethan Nwaneri (loaned) I didn't like this loan at the time

We have one forward who stays healthy.

Where is that list from please? Trossard I thought was calf injury, it it’s cramp related then that’s much better considering.

Yes re: Nwaneri, I said at the time and maintain it now, we shouldn’t be weakening the squad when there’s still so much football to come still. De Zerbi has been sacked as well, hardly ideal given that’s a big reason Marseille was chosen. It is what it is now.
