Great post - one of the best I've read on here, has provided clarity to the whole fan divide sitch. I still believe there's an overreaction, however. City/Chelsea/United all have carried passengers in the past, it's not an Arsenal-exclusive trend.
Arteta was a quick fill in for Nasri, really. Showed glimpses of quality in 11/12, but has stalled and essentially chewed up wage space ever since. Will be involved in the club for quite some time through coaching though which I'm more than happy with. Flamini is imo a sound squad player; a gotoable, reliable back up for that DM role-unfortunately he's been overplayed since he returned due to a combination of Wenger overrating his ability/inadequate player stocks in that area of the pitch.
No manager in the world is perfect - but Wenger's strength's heavily outweigh his downfalls, even post-Highbury. Question his judgement, for sure, I do regularly. But there's nothing we can do to change his stance on certain things and how Arsenal should function as a whole.
At the end of the day, disagreeing with the more detailed aspects of Wenger's management is perfectly normal, however branding the man himself as anything but a terrific influence on the club is in my opinion totally out of order.
And I hope at the start of your discussion you weren't subtly labelling me as unknowledgeable/out-of-the-know; there's those type of fans, and then there's knowitalls with differing opinions to the majority-I fall in to the latter category.

- yet another Arsenal match I have to miss. Nearly 22, means I'm ageing and developing that Cruyff 'it's too late for me' mentality.
