Not much else to be done after Coquelin demonstrated just how much the long vacancy before him caused people to overrate how good he is.

What we demonstrably need in June is:

1. High quality starting right wing, young right to develop in the cups, to replace Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain
2. 3x deep lying central midfielders to replace Rossicky, Arteta and Ramsey
3. 2x CDM to push Coquelin to the bench, and replace Flamini
4. 2x Centrebacks to replace Mertesacker and Gabriel
5. 1x Right Back to replace Debuchy in the squad

Good luck getting all that done in one transfer window.

Get luck with us getting 20% of that done with Wenger at the helm.

There will be a few big clubs looking for centre halves this summer. I doubt we'll be seeing any activity in this area, given last summer DMs were growing on trees and Wenger did **** all.

The only DM I'm disappointed we missed out on is Kondogbia. Carvalho turned out to be flash in the pan, Schneiderlin has been gash at United, and Wanyama was never good enough for us.

Games like these highlight the cascade effect of poor player management and squad depth.

No 4th CB means we retain both Gabriel and Mertesacker, who are required starters in league games until Kos is fit, in the XI.

Gabriel gets injured badly, so we bring on a CM because we have no other backup defender (RB, perhaps) left on the bench. A Debuchy could've come on, but we bring Ramsey on who then is at risk and succumbs to injury.

These car crash matches happen several times a year for us. Amazing.
