Nice win, but we'll surely only have Coq, Elneny and Flamini fit to play CM for Watford, Barcelona and Everton now. Gabriel and Kos could miss Watford and Barca.

4th will be some achievement if we manage it.

Did what needed to be done, professional performance.

Mert will be back for Watford.

Ospina
Debuchy Chambers Mert Gibbs/Nacho
Elneny Coq (Flamini)
Welbeck/Campbell Ozil/(Iwobi) Sanchez/Walcott
Giroud

Wouldn't be surprised to see both Sanchez and Ozil rested for Watford.

Would prefer we throw the Barcelona game tbh. Just send the under 21 team and rest everyone, not that Wenger will ever do that.

He's been sent out on loan, you mean Bellerin ?

Agree with this, no Debuchy though so I'm predicting Gibbs at LB, Nacho at CB and Chambers RB. Think it will be a similar team to what we saw this morning, with Campbell, Walcott and Iwobi starting in midfield.

on the injuries…

Mertesacker is just a cut on his eye and looks to be very short. Gabriel is a hamstring and Ramsey is a thigh problem. To me, the most serious looks to be Ramsey. He has a thigh problem, I think it is a thigh strain.

He has history of thigh injuries, that can be 4-6 weeks for Ramsey. Gabriel will also miss a few weeks too you'd think with a hamstring strain.

Hopefully this means Elneny central with Campbell onto the right.

Could be a blessing for us really. Ramsey hasn't been great and if that means Elneny starts with Coq, it could prove quite fruitful.

Campbell's ball for Walcott was sublime tonight so again hopefully him starting will also see us string together some wins.

Gabriel is probably the biggest worry but Chambers was very good when he came on that game (forget who it was against) so perhaps he can continue that form.

Ramsey out is good in a way, forces Elneny to play, and right now he is a much better option than Ramsey. A pairing of him and Coq will do well I think.

And like others have said, hopefully this gives us some momentum to push on.

I like what I have seen from Chambers in central defence, as long as one of Kos/Mert is playing with him that doesn't worry me too much, (against Watford anyway, Barca is a different story but who cares really). With a more solid midfield of Coq and Elneny in front of the back 4 we should be fine.

The Leicester game I believe you're referring to?

He's much better centrally than he is at RB.

Interesting to see how we'll cope. Third consecutive "3 games in 1 week" coming up. Watford is an awkward game. Two options defensively:

A. Bellerin returns, Chambers and Mert starting CBs. Kos gets more time off.
B. Bellerin doesn't return. Chambers plays RB and both Kos and Mert start at CB.

Surely we go A. Kos is probably 50/50 but we shouldn't risk it. Just means Bellerin will have to play all three games.

ElCoqy is the best partnership we have at the moment, but it's concerning that Elneny might have to play all three matches coming up - making it 5 matches in 15 days. Arteta should start against Watford IMO. Save Elneny for Barca (lol), Everton and the run-in. He gets injured and we're well and truly ******.

To be honest even if we win the cup this season its a failure, this was the year to win the league and we blew it.

Winning the FA Cup is never a failure. We'd be the first team in over 100 years to win it 3x in a row (Blackburn won 3 in a row 1883-1886)
