I think the broader plan is Ozil to AM, Santi wide and Flamini and Rosicky providing deeper central cover for Ramsey, Jack and Arteta.

Awesome news to wake up to considering I thought it'd be another August of bravado and a September of nothing.

Probably needed a centre back. But Ozil will really give Wilshere and Santi a lot of room, and he'll glue that midfield together. That'll be a great little engine room.

Wenger is happy with the options in central midfield it seems. Flamini it seems fills the requirement for a holding mid.

We still do have a concern at CB and the most pressing issue is expecting Giroud to lead the lines until Podolski returns in 3 months.

I still think Suarez will end up at Real and would have had Bale been sorted a fortnight earlier. Which means I expect Wenger to have another dip at Benzema either in January or for next campaign.

I don't know what it is but I always feel in my bones that Benzema should be at Arsenal.
