So I'm reading that there were 3 players at the presser - Wilshere, Rooney and Jagielka. They put the question to Wilshere, who said what he said without thinking as is his way, then put the question to Rooney, and I can only assume they were unable to translate his grunts, clicks and chest thumps into words for the article. Funnily enough Jagielka, the only player in the room with a dictionary and a filter between his brain and his mouth, never had the question put to him. That's the media right there.

How was Giroud's finish this morning? ******* hell! Has been my favourite player to watch this season. That goal was a thing of magic, it's great to see him play with such confidence

£10m I believe, which is usually the sort of mark that Wenger likes to hunt in. There's always a period of adjustment coming to a new club and a superior league, but his improvement this season thus far is probably greater than what most predicted.
The Higuain/Suarez saga during the summer and now the continuing talk of a new striker to be purchased in January has probably helped his motivation.

When it's all said and done, he is actually a much better back up option than the likes of Park, Chamakh etc that we've had recently. Way too early to assess Sanogo.

Clinical finishes as well. Two beautifully taken headers. Took his shirt off in celebrations for the second, picks up a yellow card and is now suspended for Denmark's next qualifier on Tuesday.
