Wow, what an awesome result.

I don't care about what it does for qualification too much because useless Marseille have still kept it wide open. But this does so much for the team's confidence when coming up against any big team. Beating Dortmund away is as tough as they come.

This is the first time Dortmund have failed to score at home in the CL since 2002!

A draw between Dortmund and Napoli next up and a win for us vs Marseille will seal our progress.

Would be epic to finally do United this weekend. It's well overdue.

Fantastic result no doubt and a win against Marseille will hopefully seal progress. Just need Napoli to nick a point and we are there (provided we beat Marseille of course).

Still should Dortmund win, we will need to get something in Naples which wont be easy, so it aint over yet.....

Almost certain that Dortmund will beat Napoli - as long as we beat Marseille we will be fine

Correct, all we can do is focus on the next game ahead of us. We have Marseille at home next. Irrespective of what happens between Dortmund & Napoli, we simply must beat Marseille. The rest will take care of itself.

If we beat Marseille and Dortmund beat Napoli we would NOT need a win in Napoli.. Our Goal Difference is superior to Napoli already and we be further enhanced by these results, so it would be likely Napoli would have to defeat us by 2-3 goals to overtake us! In saying that top spot/ confidence is vital so for that reason we would need points in Napoli, last year we came 2nd end up with Bayern Munich ( who I the saw play live against us at the grove in feb) instead of Galatasaray who we would have draw if we topped the group.

Geez our bench in the 8-2 was very light on. We were struggling big time with injuries.

Wenger is confident Flamini will be fit, Wilshere sounds like he'll struggle.

Not sure if Flamini will be fit enough to start, but Ramsey and Arteta have been damn good in CM over the last 2 games. Unless one of them needs a rest, we should go in with the same combination tomorrow.

Many of our blokes will be needing a rest, it's been a big week but so far we've come out with 2 wins and 0 goals conceded from these two big games. Another result tomorrow would be brilliant. It's been a long time since Rosicky has been able to play consecutive 2-3 games a week. He was immense at Dortmund and hopefully he, Santi and Ozil run riot at OT.

Resting should not even be considered for this game. They're professionals - they have world class recovery and rehab facilities and it's the last game before the international break. The only possible change I could see happening is Flamini coming in for one of Rosicky or Arteta, but with both of them in great form, it would be very difficult to do.

No change. As you said both Rosicky and Arteta are in form. I would leave Flamini out, or on the bench at best. Surprised he is already considered fit given the usual turnaround for our injuries.

Correct, a '3 week' injury usually means 3 months for us.

Should hopefully get Podolski and Walcott back after the break, along with Wilshere. Provided we don't get any new injuries from the internationals (always a concern with us), the outlook is very positive indeed.

Wilshere and Flamini have been named in the squad to travel to Old Trafford.

I would expect Flamini to start with Ramsey to be moved to the right flank and a unlucky Rosicky to the bench.

With a midfield of Ozil, Carzola, Ramsey, Arteta and Flamini we should be able to dominate possession. Then in the 2nd half you can throw on Wilshere and Rosicky.

I am expecting a win tonight. Hopefully a score line of 3-0.

3-0?

I dont think we've ever scored more than 2 goals at OT under Wenger?

It'll be 1-0 to us or 2-1 to them like always.

Why would we a) move Ramsey away from his best position? and b) drop Rosicky when he is fit and in form?

Ramsey is ineffectual out wide, almost non existent. Rosicky, Ozil and Cazorla (oh my) are just about the best midfield trio in the league at the moment. Let them wreak havoc with Giroud. Flamini if fit should start IMO next to Ramsey, Arteta would be unlucky to be squeezed out but that would be the only change I would go with.

No change.

The same midfield shut out Sturridge/Suarez and Reus/Lewa. Stick with it.

Agreed possible swap with Flamini and Arteta but that's it. Bring Jack on in the 2nd half then hopefully were in front and protect the lead with Vermaelen/Monreal and possibly sub out Giroud for Bendtner if he's knackered which he probably will be.

Giroud has been immense for us this season.
