Yeah Spurs probably more likely for the title than us at the minute. We are hopelessly weak.

I feel it's better not to expend too much energy on it today though. The red card has doomed any hopes of a result, so now it's about Elneny playing and Sanchez making it through an appearance unscathed.

I told myself last Chelsea game I won't be watching any of our games against them for a while. I succumbed today, but you'll never see me on this board again during a Chelsea game. I see enough reminders of our weaknesses in regular games.

Playing Ox would be a really good way to give up even more goal difference.

Flamini, Ox, Walcott, Mertesacker.

We try and carry these gutless and talentless flogs while attempting to mount a title charge. Amazing.

Window shuts in what? 6 days? Walcott, Ox, Flamini, Campbell. These are key players in our "title shot".

There are no players in the entire world that can come in and replace these? None at all? Garbage.

Our next games

Burnley - fa cup A
Southampton - League H
Bournemouth - League A
Leicester - League H

Nothing less than 4 wins will do.

Barcelona - CL H
Man United - League A
Swansea - League H
Tottenham - League A
West Brom - League H

Not winning those games in bold will be completely unacceptable. Man United and Totts away is always a lucky dip nowadays.

Throw the game against Barcelona i really don't give a ****. Play the reserve team and lose 0-10.

Ramsey was very poor. Slack in defence, left lots of spaces, and in the end didn't do anything useful going forward.

The only thing Flamini did wrong was be in the centre forward position instead of an actual centre forward for our three best chances. Where was Walcott?

Hardly unsurprising news to wake up to.

I couldn't give a heck about the FA Cup/Champions League now - if we don't win the Prem this season it'll be a colossal failure. City, Spurs and even Leicester looking more likely than us atm.

Shoei is wrong about Joel who definitely has a future at this club, but those other 3 ought to be made redundant. Flamini has put in a good shift since returning from Milan, but he really is surplus to requirements now. Ox/Theo simply don't perform enough when it matters, even the most optimistic fan couldn't defend those two.

Time is the only healer with these joy-sapping Chelsea defeats. Ugh.

Continued faith in average players gets you this but we all know Wenger will bemoan the referee and luck and insist our squad is good enough.

Well that's a shit result to wake up to.

We are Chelsea's bitches. Any danger of playing 11 v 11 against them next time?

There seems to be a match-altering red card pulled from the ref's pocket everytime we play the bastards. It's nearly amusing how easily we bend over against them - it's 110% mental & I'm sick to death of it.

Completely agree. They own us mentally.

We do shit we normally wouldn't do. Needless of Per to bring Costa down. Just like it was needless of Gabriel to kick out at Costa. The old saying is - why give the referee a decision to make?

One of the worst Chelsea league teams in the last decade, yet they still win 6 points against Arsenal.

Classic Arsenal.

FWIW I think it was a red - only seen the footage on FB on my phone but it looked like Per got him.

Annoying we still can't beat them.
If we can't win the title this season in a very average version of EPL
Then the manager must step down
He obviously can't motivate this bunch of average to very good players

If Wenger can't even help us to a title when the league is bang average and wont even require 80 points to be Champions what hope do we have in future seasons seriously ?

Somewhat predictable result but these things happen when you continue to play inferior players to the ones sitting on the bench. Shot ourselves in the foot by conceding that weak as piss goal to Liverpool in the final minute and backing that up by playing for a draw against Stoke.

Good news is we are level on points with City with a weeks rest ahead of us in a game where we should be able to further rest some key players. On top of that we have players on the verge of returning and hopefully the Burnley game proves El Nenny to be a helpful addition to the side, so we should hopefully be capable of resting players for the back end of the season should they require it.

Negative is we should be on top of the ladder and be the 5 points clear of City, so thats a wasted opportunity. Which to make matters worse Leciester are well and truly hanging around and won't drop far if at all, whilst Spurs are also right on our tail. Luckily for us though we have them coming up soon and have a chance to knock them back a little and hopefully we will be at full strength when we do come up against them.
