Elneny better start against Burnley. Amateur how we sign him yet don't play him or bring him in for the other hacks.

Coq is still weeks away you'd think. Probably 3-4.

They mentioned in commentary that Coq might be right for next weekend

It all comes down to making winning decisions.

Some of our players make poor decisions onfield (Ox, Walcott, Flamini, Per). Some more often than others.

Our manager makes poor decisions (only team in Europe's top 5 leagues to not sign an outfield player in summer despite glaring squad deficiencies, fielding overdone or over the hill players, failing to address leadership issues and standards, inappropriately rotating or not rotating at all)

We have world class players in this team yet come up short mentally. We don't make enough winning decisions as a club onfield or off field, and that's down to the whole club from top to bottom. As long as that continues, we will never be a serious challenger.

Brilliant post.

Walcott would've had more impact putting his studs through Costa's leg. **** your ten years. This club just embarrassed itself at home and Wenger's off changing onfield plans to accommodate ******* milestones. ******* imbecile.

I'm just ****ing over carrying so much dead weight around.

Ozil, Kos, Cech, Giroud, Sanchez, Bellerin, Monreal, Cazorla and now Coq is the basis of a very good first 11. Ospina, Per and Gabriel are good enough squad members. Chambers stays purely by virtue of his age so he could still be something.

Ramsey is borderline but if a big enough bid came in i wouldn't think twice about letting him go, he's living off one great season right now. Campbell is also borderline, still doesn't have any "end product" to his game.

Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck, Arteta, Flamini, Debuchy, Sanogo, Rosicky, Jenkinson and Wojo can all be ****ed off. Seriously, someone make an argument why any of them should be kept......would you even notice a difference if they left?

When i look at our squad of 25 and just how little of it actually contributes it's disgusting.

The same could be said about every other side in Europe let alone the league. The difference being the other bigger clubs waste shitloads of dollars on their dross whereas ours are youth players or are verging on retirement.

Homegrown rule?

The difference being that these clubs at least make an effort to change their dross year in year out. They take risks and see if it pays off.

We keep holding onto players hoping that they'll turn the corner.

Wilshere - played 100 league games in 6 years
Welbeck - played 25 league games for 4 goals
Ox - Played 96 league games in 5 years for 6 ****ING LEAGUE GOALS....
Walcott - Played 224 league games in 10 years for 53 league goals (Giroud has the same in 6 less years)
Arteta - Played 15 games in the last 2 years
Rosicky - 170 games in 9 years
Debuchy - 12 games in 2 years

Those numbers are disgraceful for a team of our resources.

That rule can be can be met by promoting youth players.

So your solution is to pay 30m for players like Bony, Caudrado, Jovetic and Negredo? The reality is these signings that Chelsea and City made had little to no impact on their ability to win the league and ultimately it was their star players that carried them across the line. So simply put I disagree with you with regard to improving our depth players, I would however say that more quality in the starting 11 is required, such as a world class/elite RW and deep-lying playmaker. Which in turn would push Cazorla and Campbell/Ox/Walcott further down the line. But of course these type of signings have no chance of being made in the January transfer window.

With Wenger there is no guarantee we wil sign them in July either.

My point isn't about spending big. My point is having squad players that are actually capable of contributing meaningfully over the course of a season.

Starting 11's are great if not injured. Our squad depth is garbage (and so are some of our starting 11).

Look at the likes of Leicester, Southampton and Stoke....look at players like Mahrez, Payet, N'Golo, Kouyate, Mane, Arnautovic, Ayew, Wanyama, Bojan, Deulofeu, Lukaku, Shaqiri etc etc etc none of those players were outside of our ability to add to the squad. None of them cost ******ed amounts of money or were massive risks. Add two or three of them to our team and that's less carrying our star players have to do in every game.

We don't need "World Class" signing every time, we need ****ing players that are capable of giving us 25+ solid, consistently good league performances a season.
