Whatever the extent to which we're (likely) spanked, hopefully it doesn't have a poor influence on our league performances.

We should really beat united, especially considering their injury list now with Rooney out for 6

So lock in a draw at best

Gabriel reportedly out for a month. No word on the extent of Gibbs' injury.

Add that to Debuchy leaving, and we're typically short of numbers in defence heading into a hectic run of fixtures :drunk::rolleyes:

Looking forward to Flamini covering for Bellerin or Mertesacker when they inevitably go down.

If Chambers plays like he did against Leicester he will be decent cover.

Don't pump his tyres up too much, he played 40 minutes where we had the 10 men of Leicester under almost permanent siege, he was rarely tested in any meaningful or extended way.

Gabriel is back running but won't be fit for Hull.

Koscielny has a fitness test today, but they're pretty certain he's going to pas it, so he'll play.

Wenger says "normal squad" for Saturday, Elneny a chance to start, but will get minutes either way, unless we have a catastrophe that changes pregame sub plans. Says he's still taking time to adapt.

Good news re: Kos but he should be rested anyway. We have Barcelona, United, Swansea and Sp*rs (all within an 11-day period) coming up.

Gabriel's an interesting one. Hopefully he's fit to play some part in that tough run. Having him fit by Swansea would be ideal.

Elneny has to start this weekend. He needs the experience, and we need him to be ready so that Flamini and his services aren't ever required again.

With Debuchy leaving Chambers is our only cover at RB and CB now that's why I don't understand what we gained out of sending Debuchy out on loan.

It moved a player who didn't want to be there out of the dressing room.

And that's understandable. But it leaves us in a precarious position - one we've been exposed in countless times. Time will tell whether it was a good decision. Surely his loan contract contains a recall clause, but his recent comments suggest it would never happen.

In other news, DDG and Fellaini also likely to miss our game...appears United have caught a bit of the Arsenals!

Rooney had a mental hold over Arsenal for some years, bullied us around at times. Not quite in the Drogba category but he dominated us on many occasions.

Glad he's missing. Not sure when we last won at OT (in the league) but its been a long time.

2006 from memory. Hopefully they don't sack Van Gaal in the next week.
