Other USFL Documentary

There was a doco on ESPN last Thursday about this league and how Donald Trump being a complete dickwad pretty much killed it.
Now this was well before my time - but it seemed like it could have worked if it wasn't for Trump.
They lured some very good players straight from college like Walker, Flutie, Young, Regggie White etc.

For those that were around and into the game at this time - can you give some feedback on your thoughts on this now defunct leagues short existence.

Just quickly on Flutie, he didn't go to the USFL because he wanted to, just every team thought the bloke couldn't make it because of his height.

Was on last night at 1am. In between World Cup games, a good little filler.

If anyone is looking for it on the Foxtel Guide, ESPN doesn't name it USFL Doco or anything with USFL in the title, it is under ESPN Docos.

I'm waiting for 'Run Ricky Run', which is about Ricky Williams, to come on. It seems that ESPN are putting the 'first run' of their '30 for 30' documentaries on at 8:00pm on Thursdays, then the repeats used as fillers during the week.
The ones I have seen so far have been excellent.

Trump came off as even more of an arseh*le than I thought he was in this documentary.

I posted the youtube links for 'Run Ricky Run' in the Dolphins thread. It's the best one I have seen. 'Reggie Miller vs The New York Knicks' is very good as well. It is a great series.

Just watched the OJ Doco,
The announcer basically saying sorry but we have to show game 5 of the NBA instead of O.J driving down the highway and whats with all the people stopping ,waving and calling to OJ.
12 cop cars and 7 news helicopters following him
