Maybe people look at Florent's draft position but **** he cops some flack. He was ok tonight outside still struggling with that disposal. One thing he does not lack is courage. Courage to put his body between man and ball and courage to run up and down working his arse off. People should watch him alot closer imo.
Yer see imo he won’t run defensively enough and has been shown a few times

Regardless he is a very high draft pick that we invested in and not getting much return atm imo

the third quarter when they had the scoring end everyone defended well, that was in stark contrast to the opposition, who pound for pound have more talent right now and more to gain, thats the part that pleased me the most. strong workrate , team footy

McLean's one percenters were huge tonight. Won't show on the stats sheet but he kept about 8 or 9 plays going that otherwise might've become dead balls with his tap-ons and halving contests.

He might not be part of our future long-term but he offers too much atm to not be getting games for us.

Someone on here said drop Rowbotton this week.... Jesus.
Mcinnerny is looking every bit the modern footballer, great skill set and pace.
mccartin excellent and I wasreally pleased for Clarke. Sinkers fought really hard in the ruck I love him.
Pretty sure he meant drop as in rest. And I think he absolutely should be rested next game. He's a second year mid - hitting the wall about now. Short turn-around.
Let's not run our players into the ground AGAIN.

Out: Rowbottom, Florent
In: Stephens, and ? Warner maybe

That's what he does. Beats or nullifies his opponent. But the next Rampe ? When he is playing on their best forward and dashing out of defence hitting targets lace out he may be a just hold a candle to him. I doubt it though. He is very solid though so all good.
He's building nicely week after week without fear of being dropped..
He is a smart footballer.

Good win swans.

Melbourne are like hot and cold rabble. But the swans boys played so well. They aren't a typical bottom 4 side. There is a good system that very rarely lets them been blown away in losses.

Better youth than Carlton lol And they are showing lots of signs.

Nobody gave them a chance to win, but I thought they totally could, especially at a different location like that.

Luke Parker is just a warrior.

Well done.

I thought we got done over again by the yellow rats , anyone else.
They let a heck of a lot go on both sides today. Favoured them a bit late to try and get the Dees up. Over all not too bad IMO.
Earlier in the year there would have been 30 more frees in that game.

I was worried about his size, but he must be most improved this year

Good win....McLeans physical attack on ball and opponents certainly adds some much needed contrast. Maybe McCartin is a better option as chb..Parker was great but that brain fade switch in the last q luckily didn’t cost...
Well coached, good constant pressure, good rewards but it was the Snowflake demons we were playing, so let’s not get too carried away......goodbye pick 2 on the minus Side...

That'll do piggies, that'll do.

Ball movement was much improved this week.

Papley struggling to impact the scoreboard the past month. Tough being a small fwd and the number 1 option.

If Florent tidies up his disposal, no reason he can’t be an A grader, would have to be close to the most elusive player in the comp.

Rowbottom really starting to be a physical presence.

Mcinerney played a flawless game.

Lizard really starting to find the ball, still looks a little down on confidence but whole heap better than what he was at the start of the year.

Taylor can be a handy player next year if he gets his fitness up. Probably trust him more than any player with ball in hand.

Reid was ok. Still not at a level he should be but he provided a strong target and was rarely beaten

Defence played really well as a unit. Cunningham and fox really have come into their own back there.

Mccartin starting to play a lot more physical than what we have seen. Still think his best position is forward unless we get daniher

McKean played a very good game, was physical and made some smart plays. Very encouraging

Agree Ted. As the confidence has grown so has his composure. More confident when he gets now there will be no panic.
I enjoy watching players learn their role as part of the team. It's critical because it means our coaches are getting every little bit out of our whole list & Fox is a classic example of a player who knows what he can do but needs others to trust him. Thriving on being needed by the team in that role.
Ripper game by the team that ran out tonight Wolfy.
Out Mills! Geezus I said before the game but they believe in our gameplan & that is just so important going forward.
We are also showing future players what we stand for.
Most enjoyable.

Good win with a high level gamer f pressure. Played the game differently based on which way the wind was blowing.

Didn’t miss Bell.

Florent’s disposal lets him down at times but with ball in hand he always gains ground.

Dees pushed hard in the last quarter but the team settled and won.

We look for the corridor almost too much but it worked for the most.
