I don't know if this belongs on the main Blues board, but I thought it deserved to be here. Mr M Ockerts posted it in the Northern Blues thread but I don't know how many people would see it there.

Northern Blues physiotherapist Erin O'Connor has passed away five days after being hit by a car. She was only 32. She was highly regarded and much loved by the club.

Her younger brother Eamonn, 19, also died earlier this year in a tragic accident. He had trained with the Northern Blues in 2012.

What a terrible year for the family and I can't imagine what their Christmas will be like. :(

What an unbelievable disaster for that family. So ****ing young. So ****ing unfair.

My wishes to the O'Connors.

PS A hit-run by the sound of it. Scum like that should be locked up for 50 years.

Respect to the Carlton Football club, this is an unbelievable tragedy which has rocked our small community, it was a hit and run, Police have not found the person responsible yet.

As I said in the other thread, I can't fathom what this family is going through. I don't know how you would cope with something like this.
