Absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Buzz.
He was a champion player.
In our' greatest 100 of all time.
Great bloke, always happy to have a chat and/or a beer.
Was also someone to watch with a cricket bat in his hands too.
Glad I had the pleasure to meet him and play at the same club (cricket).

RIP Buzz

This one truly hurts. I'm sincerely devastated.

I've been lucky enough to know and stay connected with Buzz and his family — Brooke, Brent, and the whole Bosustow crew — for so long now that I’ve honestly lost track of when we first crossed paths. It's many many years.

Buzz's battle with his health was nothing short of courageous. He faced it with the same spirit he showed on the football field: brave, honest, and without ever losing that famous spark. Through Brooke and the family, he allowed many of us to share in his journey, showing incredible strength in the face of something so brutally hard.

Peter Bosustow wasn’t just a freakishly talented footballer — he was a champion bloke and an exceptional father. The kind of person who lit up every room, and every ground, he set foot on.

Now, he’s finally free from the pain and the battle. No more fighting. No more suffering.

Rest in peace, Buzz. You’ll be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I'll still maintain to this day that he won us those premierships in 81 and 82. He arrived at the club with a manic approach on the field with his tackling, smothering and pressure on the opposition defence. It felt like that set the standard across the board, and other players like Dom rose to the challenge of that manic, take no prisoners approach.

I remember heading to a training session at PP on a cold week night on my way home from work, and the loudest voice on the park was the Buzz, demanding other players to lift their efforts even on the training track.

RIP great man. You put a lot of smiles on Carlton supporters' faces - a true legend of the club.

I remember going into his sports shop after the '95 Premiership to buy a new cricket bat for the upcoming season.
He was talking to Alan Montgomery.
I walked in with a denim jacket over my Carlton T-shirt.
Buzz, (grabs the front of my jacket, pulls it open, laughing) "Don't cover that shirt up! Take your jacket off and show it to the world!"

* I couldn't edit this one on my phone, but I think it was actually after the '87 Premiership.
Anyway, irrelevant.
RIP Legend.
