Crazy day of football yesterday, big comebacks from both eventual winners. The ending of the Hornets match was one of the most insane you will see. The ball was touched off the boot for those wondering.

In a good news update
If Melbourne's lockdown is lifted on Thursday night I understand games will resume in Melbourne from Saturday

At this stage I understand the season has been reduced from 16 games to 15

so a 22 team comp now goes from 16 to 15.... that is incredibly smart!

Bad news is now Victorian State Government have decided not to give an exception for vfl and VFLW games in Melbourne this weekend

ROUND 9
Saturday June 12
Sydney vs Gold Coast at Tramway Oval 11:05am
GWS Giants vs Aspley at Blacktown 12:05pm
(Both games on Kayo)

VFL games likely to resume in Melbourne next weekend at this stage without crowds but hopefully that will change next weekend, Fixture will be revised.

according to Frankston FC Facebook page “Frankston are playing Northern Bullants at SkyBus Stadium next Friday night June 18 at 7:30pm”

Fixture has them playing GC and Essendon against the Bullants

Fixture has been changed

Frankston allowed to have 50 in the social room for next Friday night at this stage all those tickets are sold

The VFL website only goes as far as to say that future matches are still to be confirmed - I don't think you'll get anything more official or reliable than that.
Like all things with this VFL season, we just have to wait.

Yeah, happy to wait, but it sounds like Frankston and the Bullants know their next match so I thought there might be a full list somewhere.

Sydney up 38 on GC at one point before half time, ended up losing on the siren. Crazy scenes again at Tramway.

Giants way too strong for Aspley out at Blacktown today - Riccardi played out of his skin, Kieren Briggs staked his claim for a recall, Phil Davis played off the bench and got through ok but didn't do much. The grandstand was full of injured Name Giants players.
Hammelmann and Payne among the Hornets' beter players as usual.

VFL to resume this weekend in Victoria but without crowds I am hearing

Williamstown v Richmond is on 7mate in Victoria and 7plus nationwide on Sunday at 2pm

It's probably the best we can hope for under the circumstances - Giants travel to Melbourne but otherwise Qld teams play each other and Melbourne teams play each other.
But at least there's some footy for you Mexicans....enjoy - you've earned it..!👌
