Grey has accepted the suspension
The chances of him getting off were nil anyway. Better for the club to focus on Saturday night than try to fight it.

Nil? Come on mate you can’t be serious. So you’re suggesting Luke Parkers hit on Smith and this hit are the same? And turns out the Bulldogs player has said he is available to play the prelim which is 2 weeks away when if you have a concussion in VFL its 21 days. There is so many worse cases in AFL/VFL in the last 2 years that have gotten less. I don’t think he would have gotten off completely but there is no way 5 weeks is justified for that. The chances of him getting off were nil anyway. Mate I've seen the footage, and even as a Frankston fan I can tell it doesn't look good on Grey's part. Maybe he genuinely didn't mean for it to happen and it was just an unfortunate accident. But I can't honestly say that the footage suggests that. And if I were an opposition supporter I'd be filthy over it. Even if we could get it reduced, what are the odds they'd shave off enough weeks for him to play again this year?Nil? Come on mate you can’t be serious. Maybe watch it in slow motion and you will see there is clearly no head high contact. It was intentional block there is no questions about that, it happens hundreds of times a game but it still does not justify the ban handed down. As a Frankston supporter I’m more filthy at the fact Duryea is getting off lightly, and as a club we have hung the Vice Captain out to dry and not even attempted to appeal it or stood up for him, regardless of whether he plays again this year or not the other player hasn’t gotten a concussion as he is playing again next week and they are happy for Grey to cop a ban basically the same as Parker for breaking Smiths face it’s absolutely mind boggling. Considering the type of person Grey is on and off the field which is well known how soft and polite he is it’s very disappointing to see how this has panned out.Mate I've seen the footage, and even as a Frankston fan I can tell it doesn't look good on Grey's part. Club's focus is better spent preparing for Saturday night (which will be a huge logistical challenge) instead of appealing a suspension which isn't a strong chance of getting reduced enough for him to play.

You have to be taking the piss aren’t you? Do you think his face just broke itself? His shoulder cleanly collected him in the headParker never hit him ffs
Get off the piss champ , total accident that was 3 at the bestYou have to be taking the piss aren’t you? Do you think his face just broke itself? His shoulder cleanly collected him in the head
I agree that there wasn't much in it and that five weeks is unjustified, but as a side note, it's possible Scott was concussed since he's AFL listed, and AFL-listed players are still subject only to the 12-day protocol even if they're playing in the VFL, since they still have access to the AFL medical facilities. If he already knows he's available to play he must not be having concussion symptoms right now, though.Nil? Come on mate you can’t be serious. Haha come on mate now I know you’re taking the piss, he blind sides him whilst running at him and puts him in an ambulance and out of work and footy for months and its besides the point Parkers hit doesn’t even compare to Greys yet they have somehow given them the same ban its ridiculous.Get off the piss champ , total accident that was 3 at the best
Completely unjustified, I’d love an explanation as to how they sanction it like that, even look at Alex Taruo during the year that only got 4.I agree that there wasn't much in it and that five weeks is unjustified, but as a side note, it's possible Scott was concussed since he's AFL listed, and AFL-listed players are still subject only to the 12-day protocol even if they're playing in the VFL, since they still have access to the AFL medical facilities. Now this is a pisstake.Parker never hit him ffs

What they all sayFunnily enough not a burner account! I was on the forum years ago and recently got back on.
By an accidental collision , Parker never meant it and yes he got him high , so yes a suspension , but it was too harshNow this is a pisstake.
How do you think Smith ended up in hospital?
Barracking for the Dolphins but have a horrible feeling Casey will roll them. Casey destroyed Willy out in the wilds on Saturday.Hate to be that guy. Casey by 10 goals next week. Wish they were on the other side. I think they are better than Box Hill and Brisbane too

Great selection. I agree could be a very VAFA centric list. He also has a lot of connections with VFL players at aligned clubs that don’t get a look in. Stefanakis for example.Daniel Ward the new coach of Sandy as they go stand alone
Expect plenty of players to be recruited from the VAFA
I fear he'll come hard for the Sandy contingent at Kinetic Stadium (Voss, Milne, Blamires, Hipwell etc)Great selection. I agree could be a very VAFA centric list. He also has a lot of connections with VFL players at aligned clubs that don’t get a look in. Stefanakis for example.
Would hope Southern Football Netball League is looked favourably too. Plenty of talent in the top 2 divisions imhoAnd plenty of talent at his old VAFA club
Doubt itI fear he'll come hard for the Sandy contingent at Kinetic Stadium (Voss, Milne, Blamires, Hipwell etc)
