Couple guys next door who are no longer afl listed but playing vfl are pretty handy too

Dawson is strange. Maybe he didn’t want to play. I don’t agree with picking ex afl unless they’re still a chance to play afl again. Why select Bianco, Declase, Bonner, Billing’s etc.

Frankston were absolutely embarassing today. If this is where our team is at then finals is off the table for us.

True, always happy with a win but not sure how good a win it was as Sandringham untested and wonder how competitive they will be. From first impression they will push sides in most games but could it be a competitive performance because it was v a side rebuilding? I guess only time will tell.

And how good was the crowd, things will happen if they can maintain and perhaps build on that kind of following.

Seems like Sandringham are the real.deal beating two sides away from home who are both expected to be strong.

What an exceptional performance by Tasmania they are going to be a top team in VFL this season.

From early in 2nd quarter Frankston were never in it because Tassie were so good. Ned to give the: a lot of credit.

ABC's coverage is definitely a work in progress. Lots of gaffs between quarters with conversations being caught on live mics and periods where either the audio or video feed will cut out while the other stays.

It's nothing appalling and I find these errors to be funny more than anything, but it does kinda remind me of watching a local footy livestream.

Good crowd at Port Melbourne today

Port had a good first half and should have been further ahead at half time but for inaccuracy . Swans dominated 2nd half and deserved the win

Frankston will struggle this year for sure. Losing the four gun players is a massive hit and their underwhelming recruiting hasnt gone close to filling those gaps. Murphy, Blamires and Campbell-Farrell gone from the midfield and losing Johnsons 30/40 goals will be too much to overcome.

Ive loved what they have done over the past few years but this year was going to be a struggle.

If some of these kids take a step then maybe but its just not looking like it right now
