I was just about to make a thread, not too sure about the vfl players but there is a Practice game this sunday at skilled stadium vs bendigo at 1pm for those interested in going.

Geelong’s VFL unit will have its first pre-season hit out this Sunday when it tackles the Bendigo Bombers at Skilled Stadium.

New coach Dale Amos will lead his team in a game situation for the first time and skipper James Podsiadly will debut for the Cats along with a number of the Cats new draftees (NAB Cup selection pending).

Geelong will play three VFL practice games, with contests against Williamstown (7th March) and Collingwood (14th March) also set for Skilled Stadium.

The game begins at 1pm and admission to the game is free.

Most of Geelongs VFL recruits will be from the GFL or BFL.

The new coach Dale Amos's former team-mates from South Barwon Swans - Mark Corrigan and Jarrod Westwood, are likely to snare a place on the list among up to a dozen other new faces.
