Not Sure,

Those got this from Inside Footy Today:

"Luke Walker an All-Australian Country Player, has been placed on Collingwood VFL List. The Magpies also contracted for 2008 Murray Bushrangers Premership Pair Jamie Sheahnen and Brett Mahoney, Ex-Geelong Falcon Tim Hunt and Caulfield Grammer Callum Sinclar"

Dave,

You are bordering on stalker obsessed.

Just relax mate - get outside and away from the computer for a while. I think that would be healthy.

That's a bit racist. Footy is a very broad church. That's what makes it (and Australia) great. We should trulely celebrate if Sing becomes the first turban wearing player for the Pies and the AFL. Go Pies!!

Collingwood has finalised its list of 21 VFL players two weeks before the VFL season is set to commence.

The primary list of 11 for the club’s stand-alone VFL team includes a depth of experience from the AFL and VFL level, as well as some extremely talented youngsters, while the rookie list of 10 consists mainly of emerging young players who competed in either Victoria’s elite TAC Cup under 18 competition or suburban and country leagues in 2008.

There have been 13 changes to the side from last year including the inclusion of former Essendon midfielder, Damian Peverill who will captain the side this season.

Peverill, who played 144 AFL games, will also have an on-field midfield coaching role.

The eight players to return include Ryan Colbert, Daniel Frost, Anthony Hogan, Brad Jones, Daniel Nicholls, Kris Pendlebury, Jeremy Mugavin and Tom Sunberg.

Five additions to the VFL list hail from clubs in the TAC competition. Jamie Sheahan, Brett Mahoney and Adam Bosnevksi have joined the side after winning a premiership with the Murray Bushrangers last year as has Tim Hunt (Geelong Falcons) and Pat Hayes (Calder Cannons).

Defender Pat McCarthy joins the list after playing for the Oakleigh Chargers in 2007 and was forced to miss the entire 2008 season due to a knee reconstruction.

Luke Walker (Pakenham), David Folino (Thomastown) and Andrew Fairchild (Greensborough) have all signed on from local clubs.

Callum Sinclair (Caulfield Grammarians) and Michael Jess (Aquinas) arrive from amateur clubs, while Harmit Singh crosses from the Bendigo Bombers in the VFL.

For 2009, the players’ numbers start with number 49 (Kris Pendlebury) and include up to number 69 (Harmit Singh). The numbering system is designed to allow each player to wear their number throughout the entire season without having to adopt a temporary number when an AFL-listed player is included for the match.

Once it is known which Collingwood AFL-listed players are available for the VFL each week, head coach Gavin Brown will then select the remaining players required from the club’s primary VFL list, and if additional players are required the VFL rookie list will be utilised.

This is the second year Collingwood has a stand-alone team in the VFL competition. From 2000-07 the club enjoyed a successful alliance with VFL club Williamstown, including the 2003 VFL premiership.

In season 2008, the VFL Magpies finished 12th in the competition with six wins from 20 matches.

There you dtm

With the expanded AFL Rookie list this year, many guys on the VFL Rookie list won't see much, if any, action this season.

Also, for some reason I assumed Justin Crow would be backing up in the VFL this year.
