Vince Russo and TNA have parted ways, can only be a good thing, right? Lets hope things change at TNA for all the good reasons!

Great thing for TNA, but I've always thought Russo was a scapegoat for the failures of TNA/WCW. He wasn't a bad booker, but shit, he has done some questionable things in his time.

Lagana is now the new head of creative... dunno if thats the best option but time will tell.

The problem is that the real cancer in Bischoff is still there. While TNA has improved leaps and bounds since Pritchard was appointed, Easy E and his ego still feels like it's everywhere in TNA.

Such an obvious scapegoat. He was in charge in late 2009 and the show was far better than it was for the next two years when Hogan and Bischoff came in.

I have no doubt that things will not change much.

TNA was by far my favourite wrestling show back in late 2009. Then Bischoff and Hogan came in and it's slowly gotten worse and worse to the point it's borderline unwatchable.

What happened to the 6-sided ring? Main point of difference from WWE and when that went, the spirit of TNA went with it.

They changed their unique two entrance stage into "generic wrestling stage #327". Tis teh suxX0r.

The jovial backstage interviews. Can't stand the shaky camera and faceless interviewee chasing a scoop route that they've gone down. I miss the backstage interviews with JB and/or the token TNA female interviewer.

Jim Cornette was a magnificent general manager (or face of TNA management). Fit the show like a glove and could work the mic like few others.

Jeff Hardy and RVD (whoever hired this guy needs his checked) have to go. Piss them off and bring back the heart and soul of the X-division (OH YEAAHHH!). Matt Morgan and Crimson can go with them. No room for any big man on the roster whose name isn't Abyss (gray Nash can come back in a managerial/comic relief role).

Finally, take the show on the road more regularly. The Impact Zone crowd is nauseating.

I will LOL when russo turns up in ROH

Cornette would shoot him multiple times, and then quit ROH and make an epic shoot interview

Jeff Hardy sells tons of merch. Had 1 bad incident. RVD on the other hand is just useless. im so glad the Six sided ring in gone hated that thing.

I Will list the pro and cons since hogan and eb came in

Pros
-----------
Jeff Hardy
MR Anderson (miss that guy)
Turning Bully Ray into a singles wrestler. Best Heel in the business today.
Ric Flair (Did a good job with AJ and is always fun to see)
Impact on the road
Production looks alot better
Rebranding was good
Reaction (Good show and was something new)
Getting Rid of that 6 sided ring.
The New India Program they have

Cons
-----------
Nasty Boys
Val Venis
Hulk's Ego and Burial of young talents in intereviews
Hogan and Abyss Lovefest
Turning Jeff Hardy Heel for only 1 reason. Try and recreate the nwo.
GARRETT Bischoff
Killing the tag divison.
Burying AJ Styles into the midcard

Pros
-----------
Jeff Hardy You're really pushing that Jeff is one of the BETTER things to happen to TNA? Sure he sells Merch, but hes unreliable and disruptive.
MR Anderson (miss that guy) Agree
Turning Bully Ray into a singles wrestler. Best Heel in the business today. Best heel maybe a bit far, but hes been used extremely well.
Ric Flair (Did a good job with AJ and is always fun to see) Has stayed too long IMO, did well to teach AJ but he has dominated too much TV time in the last year.
Impact on the road They had to do this if they wanted to compete, agree
Production looks alot better It looks generic and ridiculous, go back to 09 production values, it gave it its own style, now I cringe when I see "hidden camera" promos.
Rebranding was good No comment.
Reaction (Good show and was something new) Huh?
Getting Rid of that 6 sided ring. Disagree, see my comment about loss of its own style.
The New India Program they have Agree, but TNA has been involved in the past with companies outside the US so its not exactly new.

Cons
-----------
Nasty Boys
Val Venis What in particular is your problem with him?
Hulk's Ego and Burial of young talents in intereviews Hulk was given the wrong kind of exposure, Needed to be more like Vince circa late noughties rather than a vince of attitude era/HHH of early noughties style owner.
Hogan and Abyss Lovefest Anything with hogan is bad.
Turning Jeff Hardy Heel for only 1 reason. Try and recreate the nwo. agree
GARRETT Bischoff Havent really paid much attention to him so wont comment.
Killing the tag divison. Agree, it was the only place TNA was really competing and beating WWE, scrapping it saddened me.
Burying AJ Styles into the midcard Needed some midcard time IMO, would of ended up as overexposed as Cena is, even orton sees the need for midcard work at times.

My comments in Bold.

Phoenix pretty much nailed it on the head.

Although, I can't seem to see the appeal the six sided ring has ever had. I have been a mad TNA fan for 5 or 6 years and I didnt give a stuff when it went back to four sides, and I still don't. Hogan is right , it's a gimmick-like ring that needed to go.

As for the direction of the company, it's on the right track. When Bischoff and Hogan came in, they sent it down the shitter for a year and a half, with horrible signings and poor storylines. Since the Bound For Glory series began, things are right on track with younger talent being pushed, a rejuvenated X-Division (Austin Aries is amazing) and a really good Knockout's division.

Scrap the TV Title (it's a joke), and get some new, fresh tag teams to challenge Joe and Magnus and then they'll have all bases covered for a successful stretch into 2012 and beyond.

TNA should try for JR again. He was close to joining tna a few years back but tna wouldn't give him any backstage control. The guy has a great Wrestling mind and is a great talent spotter. JR Did bring the following to wwe

SCSA
Rock
CENA
Christian
Edge
Swagger
The Hardys
and more

thats a impressive list.

ECW went down the gurglar because he is a bad business man. But for pure wrestling talent and creative control he is a genius. TNA have asked him many of times but he wont sign because they wont give him full control out the back.

Steiner, Hulk etc would be all gone.

As for TNA surpassing ECW, no where near it.
ECW battled WCW and WWE/F at there peaks. TNA wouldn't be close as they'd have no talent.
