At the extremes there is no difference between the far left and the far right, communists or Nazis. Both should get bashed to bleeding pulps. Those titles are meaningless really, the end game for such is dominance over the populous.

The Chinese are ethnic cleansing at the moment. Are they Nazis, communists or something altogether different? Hitler called himself a socialist, but was he left wing, right, or a gifted lunatic? Moreover if you were on the wrong end of such regimes is there a difference?

Someone earlier (a couple of pages ago) removed nazi out of the left/right argument and change it to whether you blame an external persons (“them” who could be Jews, gaijin, Russia, China, immigrants) for the problems in your country and the solution being to wage war on “them”) or whether you see the problems as being part of your own country/people and seeking to change your own country/ people (ie fix “us” and not blame them)
Nazis blame “them”
Non nazis change “us”
Anti nazis seek to fight the them that are nazis (ie a response to intolerance) but I think if they go to unilaterally invading the areas/ countries of the “nazis” they risk engaging in nazi behaviour themselves

This is what I mean; only on the narrowest of criteria are the extreme left and right similar. A 16th century pirate is not the same as a modern warlord despite the two breaking the law; both a blizzard and an ocean will kill you, but that doesn't make them identical.

Like Russia under Stalin, the CCP under the great paedophile Mao, Hitler was only a socialist to gain power. Once there they only cared about their own power and wealth no matter the cost.
Xi's China isn't communist, it is a brutal dictatorship which only mentions communism when it wants to justify taking something (property, freedom or life) off someone but doesn't want to say the real reason which was that they hinted Xi was only almost perfect. If it is a choice between communist and Nazi, Xi is much closer to being a Nazi with his aggressive behaviour, personal control, ethnic cleansing, security apparatus and use of capitalism to make himself and his mates rich.

I'd say in practice they're a typical authoritarian dictatorship who rule/s**t over the majority to benefit a small ruling elite. Xi, like most dictators, is a cold blooded psychopath.
