5. Pav - does he have to do it all on his own?
4. Mayne - never stopped trying
3. Bell - ditto
2. Wiz - ditto
1. McPharlin - wasn't great but was about the only Freo player that could take a mark inside 50. Two of him and three of Pav and we might start to go alright.

very disappointed. very, very disappointed. :thumbsd:

[Polak and Sommonds went alright too. :(]

5 - Pav - thank God you stayed, I hate to think what we'd be without you
4 - Mayne - tried his heart out
1 - Solomon - on a day when his teammates couldn't care less, he showed more guts and determination than the rest combined :thumbsu:

5. Bell
4 Pav
3. Mayne
2. McPharlin
1. Farmer
0.5 Streaker - giving us a bit of speed through the midfield.

Ok ive calmed down enough to try an put some votes in
only 3 deserve votes but here goes.

5 Bell
4 Mayne
3 Pav
Grrrrrr
2 Farmer
1 Solomon missed the first half but came back an was almost bog for freo 2nd half.

Get off tarrants back yes his output was no where near worth what we paid for him. But he put in a big effort an got more possesions than most the midfielders.Chased extremely hard all day. Yet idiots still booed him, he puts in his best effort so far this year an thats how hes treated why should he even bother.

Bell was not good today. Bad ball use, wouldn't chase...watched Brown take off and create a goal

Some of the things people say after a loss . Bell's on the downward stage of his career and he is still the hardest working midfielder in the club. He had a few turnovers today, but without out him the loss would have reached record breaking proportions. With 25 touches at 84% disposal efficiency in a midfield that just couldn't get its hands on the ball ... you clearly weren't paying attention. Having said all I'll go like this:

5 - Pav
4 - Bell
3 - McPharlin - needed three of him today, one fwd, one back and one to rotate through on the bench.
2 - Mayne - put in all day and showed heaps.
1 - Farmer - dito.

I'd love to give a point to Soli after coming back from a KO blow and showing some heart, but he was clearly affected by the knock as his disposal went down the gurgler.

Same goes for Palmer - love this kid & plays with heart, but was not with the pace of the game at all today (4 clangers, 3 Free against all caught holding the ball ). Rookie comeback to earth is all, he'll be better for it and back to his gun best soon enough.

You've got some talent in Mayne and Palmer jees they can both play.
is this Mayne's first year in the system?

Yes he is.

5. Mayne
4. Pav
3. Bell
2. McPharlin
1. Solly (because he's got heart)

5. Pav
4. Mayne
3. Wiz
2. Taz
1. McPharlin

I can't see how people are giving Bell votes - he got some cheap possession but his opponent ran away from him toooo many times.
