Some people are blind....:thumbsu:

Hehe, just pullin ya chain :)

I had Tucky in my best three, but I didn't see it as a given. Rance and Thursty were up there for mine, even Houli.

People watch the game from a different perspective, and place different values on different things.

3. Tuck
2. Deledio
1. Rance

Tuck has been in our best 3 players for both games since his return. Rance has matured into his role down back and will get better with Moore, Astuby and Grimes supporting him. Lids had a great game, but this is to be expected at this stage of his career.

How Grigg and Thursfield didnt get votes from more people is beyond me

Grigg smashed Priddis when moved to him
And Thursfield Beat Lecras despite the amount of ball going inside forward 50

Hopefully joking??? Yeah another hard game from Grigg. 56 Super coach points, 1 tackle and 4 contested possessions (equal 17th for Richmond players). Absolute spud!! Not fit to polish Tuck's boots.

Thats true and it probably why I am more critical of players like Houli .... but he showed a bit more grit than normal .... the faster grounds really suit him.

Thursfield is a very flexible defender, can play tall or small. I really dont understand the reasoning behind him not getting the same opportunity as Mcguane.

There are some serious issues at Tigerland which are highlighted when players like Rodan, Shulz, and Polo who all showed something at Richmond but never really were able to estblish them selves, now are running around like seasoned veterans. Even Tambling seems to be playing with alot more confidence. Makes you wonder about the culture at the club.... my feeling is that there is a hierarchy type culture and a playing group that aren't playing for each other.
Evidence was when Farmer ignored Houli all on his own in a kick out and went for Lids(?) who was in a 3 on 1.
Seen too many players ignore others in much better positions...etc...

Have to say - the lack of votes for Thursfield on here is surprising.

Was at the game behind the goals so got to see a lot of the work from the tiger's defence.

Rance and in particular Thursfield were superb. Thursfield towelled LeCras and was on Darling at times winning one on one contests.

Not sure if he is a maligned player - but his game yersterday was high quality.

Cheers mate, he is pretty maligned around here, although in people's defence, he has been a bit ordinary for a couple of years. Broke on to the scene a while ago and looked real promising. Unfortunately, was cruelled by knee injuries, which seemed to slow him down, as well as curb his ability to put on much body size.

Most would probably see Grimes as a similar style player, but with a lot more upside.

Quite a few have admitted he had a good game on the weekend, but most suspect it was the exception rather than the rule. His first game for the year was against the Bombers when we gave up a four or five goal lead. He had a shocker that night and people haven't forgiven him. I think he at least provides us with some depth in the KPD dept.

Supercoach points matter for a bloke who was playing a defensive role on the oppositions best clearance player..??

He tagged Priddis for 3 quarters with Their ruckman dominating kept their best clearance player and ball magnet to 9 touches in 3/4 of a game very very good effort
