Fyfe unlucky, and Ibbo and Colombo both get votes for teh courage award. Kep and Suban also both solid.

5. Lower - Great clearance work, contested footy and terrific understanding with Sandi. Ran hard, provided an option and tackled well.
4. Sandi - Dominated the living sh!t out of Jolly. Made him look second rate. A couple of great grabs and goals. Great tap work. Coming back to form amazingly quickly.
3. Fyfe - Great tackling. Great hands. Ran hard all day. Good handballing, and reasonable kicking. Terrific last quarter. And a couple of great goals. Pound for pound one of the very best extractors in the comp.
2. Hill - Really got involved throughout... in contested situations and in linking play. Some of the best single-man clearances in the game... with great evasion, and finding a player at the end of it. Lots of run, good kicking. Looks 100% better on ball and really attacking the clearances. Should spend more time there in future, but not all of his time.
1. JA - Beat Dawes comfortably. Great rebound. Terrific spoiling. A couple of very good contested marks. Good support and cover for others in the back line. Field kicking was a highlight.

Honourable mentions: Barlow, Faulks and Clarke. And surprisingly enough, thought Duff actually played a pretty good game.

Finally got to watch the game in full last night, I thought a lot of our boys really put in an effort, but Pies were just another class all together. Anyway, I reckon:

4. Lower (butchered a bit too much, not alone there of course, otherwise a great game in the middle)
3. Sandi - clearly still short of match fitness, but very impressive and I'd say won his position
3. Fyfe
3. Jack - probably our best back-man, not a bad effort for a first time down there etc.
