I only listened to the last quarter cause I was at work. I taped the game, so will watch it tonight and then give my votes.

How many injuries did we get? Sounded terrible.

5. Darren Milburn
4. Gary Ablett
3. Corey Enright
2. Cameron Mooney
1. Steve Johnson

Mention to : Selwood, Varcoe, Blake (killed Everitt & Jolly), Otto, Joel Corey

Firstly CF, are you on any form of drugs ??? Blake ???? Going for a mark, then punching it, even though you are the only person in the contest, which went straight to a Swans player running into an open goal isn't the best. His disposal was really average, made numerous skill errors and got killed in the ruck when we needed it most (4th quarter was smashed by Jolly). That punch when he could have marked happened in the first and last quarter, the last one nearly cost us a goal but didn't.

Here's my votes:

5 - Jnr. Needed time on the bench but couldn't get any due to injuries. Tried bloody hard all day and even in the wet looked damaging.
4 - SJ. When needed he slots through a goal that was harder than it looked. At times could have chased a bit more, but difficult conditions.
3- Enright. Racked up the possies, but more so, he had confidence today and didn't turn it over too much. Put his body on the line a few times also.
2 - Moons. Lead up strong all day, if only he could keep his temper in check, giving away a simple 50m penalty, could have made a difference.
1 - Varcoe. Got to give this guy his creds, leading the league in tackles inside the forward 50. Great chasing all day, inspiring, truly uplifting for the team.

Unlucky few: Mackie, Ling (Where was Goodes up to the last qrtr), Joel Corey (although turned it over a bit), Milburn, and Scarlett (tried all day but looked shakey at times).

hard to pick because we were so good in the first half and so bad in the second, but here goes:

5. Gaz jnr
4. Steve Johnson
3. Big Cam
2. Chappy
1. Joel Corey

Blake made some errors I don't disagree but had 27 hit outs in the ruck which I think was best out of all 4 ruckmen. But I do think you are being a bit harsh on him in your appraisal. I say that totally drug free too;)

5. D.Milburn (Was good all day and great in the end when they were coming back)
4. SJ (Loves himself, but he has reason to at times)
3. A.Mackie (Few vital tackles that sealed it for us)
2. G.Ablett (His burts destroyed the stagnate Swans)
1. C.Enright (Bounced back after much criticism)

Hope Jimmy is OK, heard it was bad numbness in the arm after he got hit in the head. Probably be a week if it's not serious. Max out again.

5. SJ - his snap goals made the difference in the end.
4. Enright - stepped up to the plate.
3. Cam - sheer physical presence.
2. Gaz - running out of superlatives.
1. Dash - the kickout clanger was s**itful, Darren!

Selwood unlucky, Lingy gutsy, backline effort good, Travis Varcoe worth a couple of goals in value.

And did we miss Kane Tenace? Nup. I suspect he might be an inclusion though if Jimmy etc don't come up.

I thought Mark Blake was very impressive for you today.

Man you need some glasses !!!

I'm a proactive supporter of the Cats, but even I could see that Blake was smashed today. Very poor disposal by hand and foot, (I know it was wet and really trying for a big guy, but he was bad), also his punching of the ball towards the Swans goal on a few occasions which cost a goal and a few other scoring shots need to be addressed.

In footy I was always told to punch away from goal and towards the boundary, something which Blake needs to take note of.

It was tough for the big guys today, I'll give you that. However I don't think he was that great. Jolly really pounded him in the third, moreso in the last and nearly turned the game. That's why Bomber had to get him off in the final 8 minutes as he was just making too many mistakes and lost everytime in the ruck.

He did well against Spida at the boundary throwins, I have to give him that. I think that is a big bonus for the guy, but his disposal was well below his normal standard, that is why I'm appraising him harshly.

Those poor decisions and disposal cost us goals, and they were hand offs to the Swans team, i.e. very easy opportunities.

I don't mind players making mistakes, that is going to happen, however when they cost an easy goal that is simply not good enough. The punch he did in the first quarter which fell into the arms of a Swans player, costing a goal, was nearly repeated in the last quarter.

Surely you must punch away from goal, not towards it.

He dominated them in the ruck in the first half, gradually swung in the Swans favour. To really take it to guys of the experience of Jolly and Everitt is a bloody good effort.
