My thoughts are that we will win. My hopes are that I hope the crowd will be as vocal as they were last night, and i hope like last night, the majority of the crowd will be Blue.

I coudln't even hear the final siren last night because the crowd were so vocal Goosebumps.

Should be a good one next week. Anyone know the time and day of the game?

Massive chance of beating the Kangas next week up on the GC. Sentanta/T-Bird on Thompson, Waite on Brown (should be play forward), and get Walks to tag Wells.

North will struggle to match up our key forwards I would have thought, with Fevola (Watt), Kennedy/Whitnall (Petrie) and perhaps Archer to take the other tall.

Prediction - Carlton by 20 points.

This is going to be a very very very tough game. I saw North V Pies a few weeks back, and was impressed with their attitude and attack on the ball. Despite some recent stupid trades, North have managed to acquire some good young players. This will be a hard one to win.

I was hoping North won today, I think we have more of a chance of beating them then we would have playing Freo at Subi.

Would be good for Carlton to make the grand final, a bit more money isn't a bad thing and having a few win's will give the players a bit of confidence.

I wouldn't think there would be many changes to the team that beat the Hawks.

Well we'll never know if we don't give him a go. Start Russell on him and see how he goes. He has done his job the last two weeks. Wells is another challenge that I think JR is ready for!!

I'd use 'mr fix-it' on Wells only if we need to.

Bateman and Stanton are handy scalps and I think Russell needs to be tested. Why not? We have nothing to lose from testing him all throughout the year. For an early pick we need to know this year whethe rhe's a long term player or not; if not, trade him.

I dunno, I think Pagan has his mind set on Walker playing in defence. Its like Houlihan, I was hoping he would become a starting midfielder but Pagan seems to play him as a tagger or defender.

Having said that, going on talent alone the Blues should win by a rather large margin. North have lost nearly all their good players in recent years, and the only really good recruit they have gotten in the last few years should be wearing our colours. They've obviously worked on their fitness to get this far, but fitness alone won't be enough to counter the vast talent gap we have over their team.
