Round Nine was tough with most tipsters getting only one or two correct. If you got more than two you were doing pretty well and that's what samFFC did, selecting three winners for the round to be the week's top tipster. Freezin got the bonus point this week after taking a punt on Peel Thunder which also saw him get three points for the round.

With nine rounds complete waflfootyfacts remains in the lead on 31 points with myself second on 27 points while gaskin is outright third on 26. FiveStrings and Monocle round out the top five with scores of 25 and 24 points respectively.

Onto Round 10 which has the same structure as the previous round games wise with all games on Saturday once again and in the same timeslots. Perth are back at Lathlain this week and host Peel Thunder in what shapes as a big game for both clubs before the bye. South Fremantle take on a rejuvenated East Perth down in Fremantle while West Perth are fresh of the bye and will battle Claremont up in Joondalup. The TV game this week sees Subiaco at Leederville Oval again hosting East Fremantle, it's also the early start game this week with that telecast to lead into 7mate's AFL coverage in the evening.

In the other grades it's as usual with the Colts and Reserves at 9am and 11:30am as per normal. For Subiaco vs East Fremantle it's a little different with the Colts beginning at 8:25am and the Reserves at 10:55am.

After such glorious weather for the last couple of months, the rain is back in a big way this weekend although Saturday is looking the best day of the lot. The substantial rain expected on Friday will dampen things with Saturday expected to see showers as well but only a few millimetres. Only 18 degrees as well forecast so you'll need a jacket if you're at the local footy this weekend.

Well it's the last game before the general bye for the state game so teams have plenty to play for as we move towards the week off. Hopefully there's not too much rain on Saturday and we can see four really good contests this week. Happy tipping!!
