It is WAY too early to make any comparisons with Porps & Walker to Jarman & Modra.

Porps still looks underdone and that is why I imagine he is spending most of the time up forward.

Walker has played 3 games and has looked better and more comfortable in each one. He still has a long was to go but it will be fun to watch his progress.

An underdone Porps and a 3-games Walker; 7 goals between them. You can't help but get very excited about that.

Also, Walker gave the best post-match interview ever.

would you rather
a) spend a night with Jen Hawkins where nothing was off limits
b) kick the winning goal for the crows in a gf against the power
c) have taylor walkers babys, even though it is genetically impossible for two blokes to concieve

c's looking good!

It looks like we have some "out loud and proud" people on this board:p

Yeah Walker looks the goods, I was foaming at the mouth watching him play in the SANFL last year. When he hits 21 he is going to be one of the premier forwards for the crows, and with Modra leading our all time goal kicking with 440 odd, it could well be in danget over the next 8 - 12 years.

Last week vs Stkilda Porps kept us in the game in the 3rd quarter with his goals. Then Craig put him in the midfield and we got demolished. Id rather see Porps stay at half forward. He gets the best of both worlds there.

And what to do with tippett? He is playing a mixed role of ruck /forward atm. Im not sure if I like this. Seems to do well up forward. Whats the rotation atm with him and Maric? Is tippett only in the ruck when maric is resting on the bench? Could we use Griffen as a benchie ruck rotation with Maric and leave tippett at full forward? Id rather tippett as a forward.

I think the best thing about it is Porps is very accurate at goal, and Tex was in the sanfl too. If it wasnt for the 4 posters this year, his accuracy would be great. Once Tex settles down after 5 - 10 games, his kicking boots will be on

I'd like to see Griffin in for Gill this week (even if Gill isn't injured, just get him out of the team). This would allow us to try Tippett out as a full time forward and give Maric more of a rest. If Stevens and Bock don't play, then bring Sellar in as well.

Walker will rewarded with (a) after doing (b) and the whole thing will result in (c).

Where does Casey Donovan fit into all this...?
