You mean Bill "averaged 47 as a Test opener" Lawry?Some are clearly living in the past and maybe think it's still 1975 and that you have to bat like Bill Lawry to be able to play test cricket.
Things have changed and with the shorter forms of the game becoming more and more popular there will be less and less of the "traditional test match players" and more who play like like Sehwag, Andrew Symonds, Adam Gilchrist, Jesse Ryder (who averages 43) and David Warner.
If someone wants to play like him get them in the side f-ing ASAP.
