Hi guys,

After the game on the weekend as we all know Melbourne have been questioned for their positional changes.

The main one has probably been Warnock at full forward.
Look I know it looked suss but I have looked into this a little further.

On the 29th July at 7:19PM - Nathan Jones writes on his Twitter website "Just finished the main session ... boys trained well... matty warnock slotted a few down forward maybe a position change for the big fella!!"

Maybe this is something Bailey has planned for a while and thought this week might be a good time to try out some new moves...

Just some food for thought.

Some moves had merit and others were pushed by injury but there were a fair few moves which had us scratching our heads. At the end of the day as long as our young players are out there playing that is all that matters to me.

On Warnock I think he could be a versatile player for us. In the last month his run out of defence has improved and he seems in good condition. May not have all the smarts or skills but looks to be improving. Why not move him around a bit to see what he can do before the end of the year?

I'm not using it as a reference in a 5000 word essay just simply pointing out that on the 29th July Jones stated that Warnock trained up forward and kick a few goals... so when he plays up forward on gameday (2nd of August) don't jump down Baileys throat as he may have planned to take this road... and not just senseless tanking as what some people have read into it... I just thought it was worth a mention..

geez some people on here take themselves way too seriously.

I love the TV courtroom-drama evidence-presentation style of this post.

Were you to delve a little further into your Twitter research, you probably would've seen that Valenti & Moloney have won previous goal-kicking comps, clearly just something they do for fun at the end of training.

That being said, I'm expecting Mark Jamar to be on the Australian Ice-Skating Team for Vancouver next year after he took his girlfriend (one of many) out for a twirl or two.

Interesting and impressive that before this year Matty was known as Rob's brother and now Robert's seen as Matty's brother. Marked improvement and he'll be up there with the BaF

Robbie might point to his incredibly well-lined pockets if Matty ever brought up that argument, but nevertheless, Matty has been great.

Finished 4th last year in the B&F, no reason he couldn't go close again.

For whatever reason you did it, Bails, Warnock down forward just doesn't seem right.

Warnock & Frawley gave bite to an insipid forward line, and showed enough to be able to pull this move when we need it in an important game against a top team in future.

I'd have to agree with Amarula on this - I thought Warnock (and Frawley) showed a bit up forward for us, and justified the move.

The copious amounts of goals he conceeds may hinder his tilt at the bnf!

Twitter is a steaming pile of monkey shit in which douchebags think it's fun to type a line.

Shoot the lot of them who use it, sorry Jonesy.
Personally I don't use Twitter but I dont see how what you just said differs to you previous post...

You can't possibly claim to be against that while being a registered Big Footy user. It's hypocrisy on a grand scale :D
