Warnock elevated onto Senior List

Apparently at a Sandy Board Meeting, Chris Fagan said that due to the club only having the one veteran, we could use that extra space to elevate a rookie as we did with Aaron Davey in 2004.

Bit wierd for them to do it considering he is out for 6-8 weeks with his thumb but good luck to the kid, very promising.

That's awesome news if true, we have such a good record with rookies, I'm nicely confident he's going to be a player.

I like this. I think he'll be a very good player and looked pretty good against Brisbane. Didn't get a lot of it but when he had to man up Chris Johnson I was a bit worried, but he easily had the pace to cover him .

yeah he is a great player, will do really well i hope. I have always kept an eye on him, good talent. Love to see him off a back flank or even a wing. Good pace and good size to.

Big fan of this move. Some may see it as odd this is announced when he will be out for 6 weeks but we had to make the nomination before the 21st of March.

ND seems to really rate Warnock and he has said a number of times 'he will be a player for us'. I agree, he has the size but more importantly the pace to go with the type of forwards that have troubled us for years (see Kent Kingsley).

It's a shame he is injured at the moment but he will no doubt be seen in the red and blue at some stage this year.
